    Hi Guys, I just got FrontPage2000, and I decided to try it out by making a site. The site is called Pok? Eternity.

    Will you please tell me what you think of it? I am not that experieced with the program, and I used free graphics from Pokemon World for the splash and benner. (Thanx Simone :cool: )

    Layout looks good enough...

    Though you may want to change the link color... there is basically no difference between it and the titles. O.o
     
    You may also want to re-code it as Front Page tends to makes junk HTML code...

    Aside from all that, the site looks promissing... :)
     
    Eh, I don't see any change with the links...

    However, I notice that you're using plain HTML... you might want to change that, otherwise site updating gets looooooooooong... @_@
     
    What should I use? I dont know how to use php and I would use frames but it makes the site look ugly...so..any suggestions on what would make updating it eaiser?

    Just put the <?php include("layout1.txt"); ?> and <?php include("layout2.txt"); ?> on every page, and you should do working.

    One point you should take my word for: never trust a site that ffers 'unlimited bandwidth' -there is no such thing! If you check out the small print in those website's Terms & Conditions, it mentions that that isnt technically true, so thats always an idea
    Same goes for the unlimited space

    Within their terms and conditions:
    "CPU Resources. User acknowledges that the Service is provided on a shared server and agrees not to engage in any activity that could overwhelm the server with heavy CPU usage or that requires a disproportionate amount of the resources of the hostultra.com server, including without limitation, use of highly active CGI or PHP scripts or chat scripts. "
    The way they've put it so broadly means that they would be able to close your site for using too much bandwidth or space in their opinion..even if it's only 20gb :/
    The scripts they talk about are only examples they give you, and they don't define what they call a 'disappropriate amount'

    Beware -i know a lot of people who have been shut down repeatedly on these 'unlimited' offer accounts..

    Going onto the layout, i'd change the sidebars to match the top banner -either a background image within the sidebars, or a darker more suitable blue ^^
     
    Well, when I visit the site, the infomation bar went up (because i'm using Service Pack 2) saying the popup is blocked.

    Popups are EVIL!!!!!

    Shyper rocks. Check it out. I still think you should change the sidebar colour to navy blue and use a paler colour for sidebar links, though. XD
     
    I made a new layout, but kept the same banner...tell me what you think of it

    Also..i know there is no strikethrough on the links that dont work but I am trying to get as many pages as I can done right now

    I need some staff members who know alot about these things and can make info pages on:

    -Pokemon TCG
    -Pokemon Anime
    -Walkthorughs for all Pokemon Games (RB, Y, GS, C, RS, E, FRLG)
    -Pokedexs for all Games sereis (RBY, GSC, RSE, FRLG)

    (You would make it...I would put it up with your name on it. ALso, you would be put on the staff page.)
     
    Yep, that new layout is great. ^^ Very cute. You should use your referrer link for the PC link, though.
