Gerlen fed the dogs and the horses and then let the horses and dogs wander through the fields. She asked Pika to water the berries. He quickly started watering the Chokatos and Orans and picking the ripe ones while Gerlen groomed a Ponyta whose hair was looking wild and messy. When the Ponyta was neat again Gerlen let it trot off into the field. Pika came to Gerlen with a bucketful of berries. "Pi!" he said. Gerlen patted his head,thanked him,and took the berries. She said,"Pika, we'd better go to town and sell these!" She looked through the fields until she found her fastest Arcanines,Don. She mounted him and grabbed Pikachu. "Come on,boy,let's go to Dewford," she said.Don flew through the woods and was quickly at the small island town. There were not many people at this town,of course, but Gerlen's farm was one of the few places the islanders could get berries,so they bought a great deal. Soon almost all the berries were gone except for two orans and a chokato, which Gerlen decided to save for supper. Now Gerlen had about $100. While she was here,she decided to fish for a little while. After several bites that got away, she finally caught a medium-sized Magikarp that she sold for $15. Getting back on Don, she and Pika rode back home. Pika returned the Pokemon back to the stables and the kennel. Gerlen made supper with the berries and,after eating the food, she and Pika went to bed.
