    Pokémon live-action casting

Who would you want for a live-action adaptation of Pokémon? Be sure to state the year, the name of the adaptation, and a full main cast. Notes are optional, as are any minor character casting suggestions. All replies should also include an opinion on the cast brought up by the poster above before suggesting his/her own live-action cast.

    For example:

    POKéMON SERIES 1 (1996)
    CAST OF CHARACTERS
Professor Oak - performed by Sir Ian McKellen
Red - performed by Paul Terry
Blue - performed by Andrew Knott
Brock - performed by Lee Oakes
Misty - performed by Florence Hoath
Lt. Surge - performed by Grant Kirkhope (yes, that one--the composer and one of the voice actors for the Banjo-Kazooie games, one of his roles being Jamjars)
Erika - performed by Naoko Mori
Koga - performed by Garrick Hagon (I thought of him specifically because of his voice acting performance as Goemon in The Secret of Mamo)
Sabrina - performed by Gillian Kearney
Blaine - performed by Steve Whitmire (put a bald cap on him, and he'd have looked more or less like proto-Blaine back then)
Giovanni - performed by Ralph Fiennes
Lorelei - performed by Kelly MacDonald
Bruno - performed by Götz Otto, voiced by Grant Kirkhope (were mandatory English classes a thing in Germany back in '96?)
Agatha - performed by Dame Maggie Smith
Lance - performed by Rupert Graves
Bill - performed by Peter Linz
Daisy Oak - performed by Camilla Power
Mr. Fuji - performed by Christopher Lee (this would be one of his more sympathetic roles)
Red's mother - performed by Gina McKee
Old man - performed by Derek Jacobi (I can imagine him trying to sound almost like Claudius saying, "You can't go through here! This is private property!")
Copycat - performed by Elizabeth Earl

And now, whoever replies, please give your opinion on my cast, and then your own cast.

This is a Pokémon themed game, so I've moved this where those belong, which is Pokémon Trivia.

    Anyway, carry on!
