Pok?mon Marketing Fading in other countries?
At Brazil, 75% of the population dont know whats even Pkmn....

Come see our newly released Pok?mon movies?
The US are not the entire World... Stupid Miramax...

Hey look mama, it's a cute little Pikachu toy.
    Mama: WTH is a Pikachu?

Their current channels of distribution suck. It's as if they think everyone doesn't like it anymore... I even doubt Wish Maker will even come to Australia and other countries.
Singapore has got the Wishmaker...only on VCD =P
I'm not sure if it's the original, but it sure looks as though it is.

All of this is from a UK point of view

Come see our newly released Pok?mon movies?

Yeah right... even you're lucky to get Pokemon Heroes (even if it was off import or internet). Pokemon 4Ever has just come out in the shops... and although I'm not going to get it, it seems a shame that a movie that has been out in Japan has taken 2-3 years to cross the Channel to other shores.

Come see our newly released Pok?mon movies?

Read above. The last movie in the cinema was Pokemon 3. They didn't even bother to release 4Ever in mainstream cinemas... *throws dart at picture of Miramax logo*

Hey look mama, it's a cute little Pikachu toy.

Mama: Aren't they dead now? And weren't they in your Game Girl anyways?

Now where is that Birth Island Ticket?

It took 2 years for the Eon Ticket to come to UK shores. By the time it'll arrive here, Japan will have the 4th generation, and it'll have already been translated into English.

Although... to be fair - with the release of FRLG last Friday, advertising has shot up. FRLG are on the back covers of nearly every magazine. Trading card sales have skyrocketed... it feels weird. :/

Not as well as you think. Alaska is a very simaler senario to aulstralia.

Come see our newly released Pok?mon movies?
yeah, yeah I heard all the ads. too bad they don't bother giving things to Alaska. it's like they don't even consider us part of the US..

Hey look mama, it's a cute little Pikachu toy.
I don't even see those on the shelves...

Now where is that Birth Island Ticket?
Never heard of it, never seen it. the only reason I got an eon ticket was becuase I ordered it from nintendo power.

Come see our newly released Pok?mon movies?
4Ever barely had any ads here in the US. KidsWB! ran about one or two commercials about it and that was it. Heroes was the last movie in theaters here and it didn't even get any advertisements for it. Blame Miramax entirely for poor advertising.

Now where is that Birth Island Ticket?
Alot of you can ***** and complain about how your country will never get it, but you gotta remember that not all of the US or Japan gets these special treatments. >_o Only THREE cities out of FIFTY states (none of the three in the same state as the other) will be able to obtain the ticket to reach Deoxys. Yes, we did also get the Eon Ticket before Europe, but do you guys really think we all have e-Readers? :\ I still don't have one, so I'm left with an Eon Ticket that I can't use because I don't have the money for $40 contraption that I'm probably going to use only once.

Japan doesn't get these fancy treatments either. If they wanted to get Deoxys, they had to pay to go see the Deoxys movie and bring in their ticket stub to receive the island ticket. Normally, everyone outside of Japan just has to show up for these sort of things. Japan had to pretty much pay to get it.

So before any of you start whining and saying how the other countries have it better, get the facts straight and learn that no one has the better edge over the other.

The Pokemon Fad in Singapore is very vague. Cards are still in stores unable to be sold but the games and TV series are still there but I know it's matter of time before Yu-Gi-Oh takes Singapore. Boo Boo Boo Hooo Wahhh!!!!

If you guys are having so much trouble, then I should simply be loving where I live.

Released wishmaker on time and still has 4Ever and Heroes on teh shelves. Heroes and Wishmaker were well advertised aroudn here.

Hey look mama, it's a cute little Pikachu toy.
Both jumbo and miniature stuffed animals from Pokemon Advanced can be foudn in any store that sells toys. There is also the V-Trainer 2.0, which I've also seen commercials for. Then there is the multitude of scale figures which I currently own five of them, still in their boxes.

Now where is that Birth Island Ticket?

It's an exclusive item for Pokemon Rocks America which hasn't even stareted yet, so right now no one has it. :\

Yugioh Mania could be fading by now. The last volume of the YGO Manga, book 38, is already out some time ago, I think.
Maybe the Yugioh Mania can be comparable to Pokemania :\

    Same goes for UK..
I believe that, if the marketing and advertising was equal, the extra products and features would pay for themselves!
A Pokemon Center in every fully developed country (in the capital city) would really boost pokemon in other countries

    That would mean no chance at all for Singapore. It's advanced developing --;;

o_O; And I was just complaining the other day how there is nothing at all here in the US. I guess places outside of the US have it worse. For me, I have access to most of the Japanese Pokemon imported products, I haven't seen any American licensed products so far.

Oh well, I liked imports better anyways. XD *chews on pokemon candy* Did you guys know Pokemon was also featured on a Japanese drink of Ramune? And they have McDonalds promotions. AGH. We haven't had one of those in a long time.

I think they should really concentrate on marketing more...and build a Pokemon Center here in the west coast. -_-; Whyyyy just New York, it makes me mad. Stupid marketing people...
