Here's a little update.
i've been working on the battle with events.
it takes more time, but it's easier for me to do.
it's been done in common event.
features that work:
- hpbar (hero & enemy)
- exp bar
- moving platforms & trainer + pokemon.
here's a screenshot of it now:

I think the window skins for the HP bars are nice.

The EXP bar is neat looking. It goes well with the window skins.
In my opinion, keep that look. its good. I feel if you change the window skins, you'd have to change the EXP bars/Hp bars too (which i think would be a bad thing)
good job so far. Look foward to playing your next demo (since i loved your old 1 :) )

anyway, an UPDATE!! :P
i found a script on rmxp.net which allowed to reduce screen-size.
i now got it to 480*320, GBA size is 320*160, but rmxp needs double!

but it need a bit of rgss knowledge.
because you need to change position of the player,
change every window x, y, width, height.
and a lot more

ok, progress now will be extreemly slow!
for some reason, an error came up, which i couldn't fix(while saving game)
and i resized the resolution of the screen.
so i'm restarting SG, but i'll use the same scripts,
but modified for the resolution.
don't worry, it'll be the same, but takes some more time.
options i have resized:
- menu
- message box
upcoming: (this week)
- choice window
- pokegear (not sure, since this has 700 lines of scripts.)
- trainercard
this is it for now
