    These passed days poke-commuity has not been working
    I dont understand why
    Everytime I go on the computer it sais that poke-community dosent exsist!
    Well I contacted the webmaster here and had sent him/her email!
    This problem needs to be fixed
    Come on out of 10,698 members 10 are online becuase the data bases down!
    I went to my other message board and been getting posts to me is something wrong wiht poke-community becuase I cannot go in!'
    I have not been on since yesterday night becuase of this problem!
    This just happeneds every 5 minutes!
     
    It's been happening to me as well. I think it's because too many people are trying to access to site at one time, though I could be wrong.

    Could we being DDoSed? I know two other private pokemon boards have been hit recently, and it's got me thinking that the AP community is starting to stir again. I don't know if they hit here or not, but I do know that it's got me wondering about what's going on.
     
    It's the server... we're thinking of how to replace it in HQ at the moment, so please be patient -_- It's NOT got anything to do with other Pokemon sites, so don't start any conspiracy theories or anything -_-
     
    I'm just glad it's NOT connected to those two events.
     
    It's been causing me to Double Post on accident too. Ah, just like last summer. ( It was just like this.)
     
    This problem has been causing alot of problems lately. They just stop dead. And we can't even visit it. Please try and fix it or else no one will come and visit PC anymore because just esterday it ahowed me that there are 2 members online. Me and some other guy and then when I Reffresed it I saw that it had 20 members online. Try and fix the problems.

    It's mainly the amount of people trying to access the site, isn't it? I noticed that it only goes down if a certian amount of users are online, both guests and members.

    Well, do what you have to do to try and lessen the strain. I honestly don't think that many people would miss their avs or sigs, or some features such as rep, friends list, ect, seeing as they aren't exactly very visible if the site is down constantly.
     
    it's more then just PC.... PC is on a shared server.. as such it has to compete for limited server resourses with the other sites on this server.. when 50 - 60% of those other sites are also busy it gets hard to serve all the requests.... especially if there is database queries involved. (and pc uses a lot of those)

    we are trying to fix it until we can move to another, dedicated server. (donations will help out a lot about now..) so i'm the mean time, PC can (and prolly will) go down without notice..
     
    yea steve, pc has gotten so big that it needs to move to a dedicated server... i mean, bmg is also on the same server as PC, XD... along with those other hosted sites...
     
    The site was just down a few mintues ago! If the forum is down, just go outside for a walk, and the website will be back on!
