4th Gen Poke Transfer Question

What would be the easiest way to transfer all of my pokemon from P/D/Pt to HG/SS? Just catch easy pokemon and trade or does anyone have a better/easier method?

Yeah pretty much,theres no other way (Based on what I know of)
