Question: Pokecommunity "Claims"?

    What are those? When customizing my profile I came across "claims" which include
    Pokémon, Bishies, Series, Pairings, Songs, Celebrities, Challenges... What are these supposed to be?
     
    There are threads around the forums, less often than before, that allow you to "claim" things. It just indicates you like/enjoy whatever you "claim". Generally the threads only allow a few people to claim a specific thing, so you and maybe two others at most can claim something. They have no meaning beyond this usually.

    Nowadays, I think you can just put whatever you want in there cause there aren't as many claim threads in existence.

    So my favorite Pokemon is Aipom and I would "claim" Aipom.
     
    Those are things you can "claim" in the appropriate threads. There's a Pokemon claim thread in Pokemon General, for example, where you can go to claim your favorite Pokemon if you please. And then once you've done that, you can list them in your claim section on your profile! :) I don't know if the others, like songs and celebrities, are still up and running though. You might want to check Culture and Media for that, if you're interested.

    And the part for challenges is to list what challenges you're participating in, since those aren't things you can claim. Don't look at my challenge list cause it's long and I haven't worked on it in forever. EMBARRASSING.

    Do you have a link to that thread? I would like to claim Latios or Latias for my favourite pokemon while I still can :P

    Sure! Here it is. :) Just make sure you read the rules and such before posting because they're pretty strict about it there, but I assure you it's all just to make sure things run smoothly. Hope you can claim them!
