    Okay Everyone,
    I've started making a pokemon rm2k\3 game again, after having two viruses made me have to reformat my hard-drives and onee projects RPG_RT.idb file got corrupted. After working on three projects, I decided to take a break. During this period, I got all the GB Roms and "Emulated" them. I checked out how everything worked. Now that i know, I need a team put together.
    I've Already got the CMS Done
    Basically What i need are
    *Spriter(not really but if you wanna work on this project and see your name on the programmers credits)
    *CBS Designer(Custom Battle system, this is about the only thing i cant do on my own)
    *Trainer card designer( i can make trainer cards, shoot i have my own request thread, but i need someone to make it to where it shows the heros name, his pokemon(easy) and Badges(easy),and time and stuff.
    and i need a menu system built, its possible because rm2k3 kid does it on pokemon liquid.
    *if any one else wants to work on this, let me know on this thread and tell me what you do

    Basically, the games about:
    You live on a secret island, in the middle of the ocean, and you and your Mom protect the Red and Blue orbs. Team Magma and Aqua have been observing you for some time now, there's no way in through the air because they have an Alkakazam that puts a barrier around the place. The only way to get food to them is to push a button inside the house that moves one oof the boulders, then once the persons ashore, it moves back into place. Well, one day one of the boulders shatter because of the other one moving. Team M and A see this and jump at the opportunity to grab them, and they succeed. Now you have to go and defeat them. Sneakilly, Team Magmas and Aquas leaders Desquise themselves and become the Pokemon League champions. Now you must go through the new region and defeat all the gyms to get their badges, Beat the Pokemon League, and Defeat Team A and Team M to get the orbs back.
     
    Maps are very unique. I think that you should change the colour of the words..
     
    of course im gonna change the menu. Actually, I'm gonna make it to where the player can choose the menu color. I was just programming the menu yesterday and wasn't thinking about the color.But thanx, i'll change it in the demo.

    possibly. If I can get a sriter on this game than more than likely.I'm a spriter and can do it myself but the game will take longer to make, plus im still making trainer ards in my thread, which takes up alot of time.
     
    I'm only good at making up Pokemon, storylines, and maps: but on the latter you know I'm inexperienced and don't have a Pokemon tileset.
     
    soon yes. I'll be continuing on my game tonight. I'm over at my Grandma's house.
    And I still need somebody to do the CBS and the PC(computer system).
    So if you know any RM2K3 forums post in there about me.

    Ultimate LAtios, can you make about 10 sprites, please.
    About five evolutions/babys and about five fusions.

    what do you mean? New Pokemon are good, people don't wanna make a game that's almost identical to the official ones, so they add new Pokemon.

    choose whatever pokemon you want to evolve or whichever ones you think will turn out da best

    and Naas02,
    People started buying Pokemon GSC cause they're were new pokemon. They started buyingPokemon RS for the same reason, and they're going to buy Pearl and Diamond partially because of the new pokemon. So why shouldn't we put new pokemon into our games?
     
    ^^^because you dont know the formula to test pokemon in the game to do so

    It may be fun but adding in new pokemon could offset the game balance let me explain. Some pokemon have really good stats and crappy movepools, some pokemon have really crappy stats and good movepools, some pokemon have good stats that dont match their movepool. By adding new pokemon into the game you could be creating pokemon that take the place of others that exist making the old pokemon usless, you could make a pokemon to powerful (that doesnt just mean high stats) then it would be like how Blissey and Weezing are now you would just be creating more pokemon to make the game boring, or the pokemon you create could just plain suck and be usless anyway. It may seem like a fun idea but unless you have the knowledge of the game mechanics and battle strategy neccessary to do so you could actually ruin your game, Ive been playing the metagame since Blizzard's PBS for RBY and its not very hard for me to see where some of the made up pokemon I see in some of these games are a waste of time and space or if the I can just use that one pokemon and destroy any AI trainer in the game. Aside from that (and noone take this as an insult) I have seen VERY few pokemon sprites that even look like they could even possibly really be pokemon, understand that the people that do make the official sprites are proffessional and have alot more experience under their belts then most of the game designers here.
     
    See, but there's a difference between those other people who make pokemon and put them in there game and I. I have a crud load more experience. I have had 4 pokemon RM2K games in the making that've been destroyed and one on my laptop that i cant get to thats over half way done. I'm not afraid to say to myself "ew, that looks like crap, i'll take it out", because i know.I'm very judgemental about video games and especially pokemon games. I live in Dallas and my name on all of my GB\A Games are Charzar, so if you ever encounter m, you'll know what i mean by I'm an expert.
