I think that switching to RMXP is not a very good idea if you already are very advanced!

The sprites are not bad, actually very cool!
 
I agree, but look at the difference between the maps( these are not real maps from my game).

I have the complete Johto region for rmxp, while I only have less than half of the hhoenn region and the red/blue/yellow chipsets
 
I agree, but I have the tileset with every bulding from Johto plus some and there frieken sweet.

Sorry for not replying in a week, but my internets been down. Has anybody ever thought it might be cheaper and easier to make your own isp company than having SBC Yahoo DSL or Cebridge. Our retarded DSL was down because they gave us the premium package (3mb), when it's not avbailable in our area. We couldn't get a signal for a week. Then when they cam out to fix it, when they got done, we had such a weak signal, it wouldn't reach the phone jack in another room in the house, so we had no internet, except if we used our router. But we have to have the router hooked up to a computer to set up the dang wireless. I HATE DSL

Okay Everybody I have a new plan. Since I haven't had any responses from people that I need on my team,I haven't really been working on my game that much. So the RMXP version doesn't have that much on it, and I'm not really digging the storyline anymore. I need suggestions.
1.restart everything
2. come up with a new storyline
Any suggestions will be taken' into consideration.

the RM2K3 maps look loke crap due to the lack of options on the chipsets. In RM2K3, you have to have the chipset image a certain size(exact), while in RMXP yo can have any size and you have three layers, not including the events layer.

And whatever happens, I need a team.
 
well, I can't make you a CBS for RMXP because I dunno Ruby Scripting, but I'm currently making a plan for my CBS, CMS, etc in Sphere. It will have all the information, links for equations, etc on it
so when I finish I can post it here so you can have an idea what you need to put there :P
 
Oh, I can make a frieken' awesome CBS, but it'll take time. The problem is i'm in a couple classes at school that load me up with homework, and I don't get home everyday until 5:15 because of band practice. So, if I could get some other people to do it, It would help alot.

Anyway, yes I can give you my CBS and CMS as soon as they are finished, I downloaded and printed a 200 and odd page tutorial to learn every last bit of the RGSS in RPGmaker XP.

I currently have a working reflection script and real time weather script, customising menus and battle system takes a heck of a lot of work.

But i will let you use it ONCE IT IS READY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Would you consider using your own stuff in a massive game the Mystic Fog team and I are creating?

and yes i realiZe it's not good to triple post, but I had to make this thing active again. Nobody will put any suggestions in if t's in the bottom of the game development thread.

by the way, I have a reflection script from rataime, but do you have one that will reflect when you're looking up?
 
I need thoughts or I'm just gonna tell a mod to shut this thread down and start a new one, with a new game, and not take any suggestions.
 
i want to know how i can make an intro screen to choose boy/girl and rival name etc like in the advance games, how can i do that? and how can i make a day/night system in the game?
