[Showcase] Pokedex Sprites

☯~Introduction~☯
I have been enjoying spriting and I decided that I wanted to do some more of it but was unsure of how to go about finding sprites to do that weren't really simple. After under a day of me spriting my friends had already gotten fed up with suggesting ideas for me, and I have never been much good at coming up with ideas for myself. As a result of this I decided to create a way that I can randomly decide what form of spriting I will do.
☯~How it Works~☯
I have found a random number generator online and have been using it to help me with this. I first downloaded a sprite sheet that has the Pokémon mainly in order. I am going along this sprite sheet and as a result through the Pokédex. I use my random number generator to decide what form of spriting I will do, my possible outcomes are as follows,

1.Holemon
2.Extreme Recolour
3.Fuse with the Pokémon below it on the sprite sheet. The Pokémon I am on must be the base.
4.Retype
5.Chaos
6.Eggmon
7.Recolour
8.Invert Colours
9.Fossil
10.Pokeball
11.Berry
12.Outline (NEW)

If I get a Retype I then change the random number generator to 1-17 where each number represents a type of Pokémon, the numbers and their respective types are as follows,

I have not included normal as retyping Pokémon to normal is very awkward in my experience and I am not capable of doing it yet.

I plan to attempt all that I am given and upload them all although some may not be as good as others, I will probably leave a quick comment with each one and leave you to just look at them. I have decided that if I get something twice in a row I will ignore the second one and try again as I think otherwise it will be quite boring.

Spoiler:

1.Bulbasaur

Here I did an extreme recolour and I believe it went quite well.
2.Ivysaur

This was a normal recolour which I personally quite like.
3.Venosaur

This is a Venosaur Berry, it wasn't as good as it could be with other Pokémon but it wasn't horrible.
4.Charmander

This is just a simple eggmon, I think it isn't bad.
5.Charmeleon

This is a Charmeleon joined with a Clefable which is under it on the sprite sheet, even if it may look odd, I believe it is a good fusion.
6.Charizard

This is simply just recoloured, it looks quite silly but I just couldn't make the colours match together well.
7.Squirtle

This went very well, I believe I chose the correct Chao for this Pokémon and shaded it well.
8.Wartortle

This was meant to be an extreme recolour but looks like a normal recolour.
9.Blastoise

This was really simple as all I had to do was invert the colours, this looks much better than many other Pokémon do when inverted but not the best that I have seen.
10.Caterpie

This is a Pokéball, I had problems with the recolouring tool refusing to work and had to do it by hand, luckily it only has a few pixels so wasn't that hard.
11.Metapod

This was a recolour that went quite badly.
12.Butterfree

This is a simple invert, it looks quite cool but I had to change the border to grey as inverting the colours made it white.
13.Weedle

Weedle Berry, what else is there to say?
14.Kakuna

This is a fossil, they are very simple to make but I think they look really cool.
15.Beedrill

Extreme Recolour, originally it looked really bad but as I did more and more it looked even better.
16.Pidgey

Very simple invert, looks quite cool.
17.Pidgeot

Fusion with a Venonat which is underneath it on the sprite sheet.
18.Pidgeotto

Retype to Grass, now a Flying, Grass, Ground type Pokémon.
19.Rattata

This is an Eggmon, it turned out quite well.
20.Ratticate

This is a Ratticate and Digtrio fusion, it looks like a Holemon but I can't do much about that.
21.Spearow

This looks very blue, I realise I have done a lot of inverts but I can't change the random generator.
22.Fearow

Eggmon, I considered adding either a beak or wings but figured they would both look stupid.
23.Ekans

Holemon, quite simple.
24.Arboc

I decided to recolour this pink so it is slightly similar to my own snakes colours.
25.Pichu

This is an outlined Pichu.
26.Pikachu

This is a Holemon, I would have included the tail but it looks silly.
27.Raichu

Another invert colours, I really like this one.
28.Sandshrew

I possibly outlined this too much but at least it looks cool.
29.Sandslash

This berry didn't go very well, I had to improvise The spikes and repeat a couple to make it fit well.
30.Nidoran Female

This is a terrible berry but redoing it probably wouldn't help and I am only uploading my first attempt.
31.Nidorina

This egg went quite well.
32.Nidoqueen

I am beginning to hate extreme recolours, they almost always look dumb.
End of Row Gijinka

This way the best of three different gijinkas.

The Gijinka is of number 12, this wasn't my favourite Pokémon but it was the best of the three I made from my favourite Pokémon.
End of Row Trainer Card

This includes my 7 favourite Pokémon from this row, I may list them later but currently I can't be bothered. Incase you were wondering, the ID number is my 3 favourite numbers, 28, 42 and 7.

Not bad; you seem to be doing pretty good. One my favorite work of yours is this:

I love the coloring that you did here; looks fantastic. <3 Though, its ears are in an awkward position. They would have looked better if, perhaps, they were rotated a bit. It could be sort of a difficult task, I understand, but no need to rush--you're free to take all the time you need.

I have just uploaded my first end of row trainer card with gijinkas, I think they went well and I am looking forward to doing more rows, once I begin the next row I will be putting each row in it's own spoilers.
