[pokeemerald] How to compile it on github?

    I've never been told how to do it, so I'm now asking here, and before you tell me that you can compile it on my pc, I could, but I don't want to stuff it up and I feel that I may fail even before starting if I tried here on my 'puteh...
     
    Are you referring to GitHub Codespaces? GitHub is primarily for hosting code, not writing it. They do offer an editor that runs in the browser, but it's mostly for quick edits. GitHub Codespaces is a service providing hosted systems for development, and there wouldn't be anything stopping you from following the standard Linux instructions in a Codespaces environment, but it is a paid service (though there is a free usage quota). I don't think this would be very convenient, though, since every time you made a chance you'd have to download the compiled ROM to test it locally.
