Ooh. First poster! What battle styles do you use? I usually go with force with moves like Flamethrower rather than stat increasing moves.

I personally stick with force moves. On some Pokemon I use stat increase moves , but I have found it in my case not necesary. I never have and don't plan to.

Current projects:
Attempting to snag a Bold Suicune on Colosseum
Working on a Forretress for Battle Frontier.

Suicune rocks, most definitely. Bold nature is + Def, - Att, and since Water types have no physical weakness, and Suicune has 115 base Defence, it can take several physical hits. Bold nature works the best, since his weaknesses can be covered with a few Calm Minds. Here's the moveset I have in mind for him:

Suicune@Leftovers
EV: 252 HP/176 Def/82 Sp Att
Calm Mind
Surf
Ice Beam
Roar

Combined with Spikes (this is why I'm training a Forretress), this can be a complete beast to take down.
