Got it to work on a Bidoof... Now I want to clone my new shinny Charmander, but i want to come up with the absolute safest request pokemon to use. On other boards people report that trades are going through while they have the game turned off for level 100 Abras... I was asking for female Machokes below level 9 but Then I realized, there *are* female machokes.
 
So then, how do you get the GTS Cloning Glitch, or do you use another one? I use the Emerald one, I have a shiny Golem, if anyone wants it, I really want an untrained Shiny Turtwig and Starly, if you don't mind. I won't reveal my FC to everyone, because I don't want ramdom people to add me to their Pal Pad.

As long as you don't add them, why does it matter? it takes both players having the code for them to see each other online, right?

Troubleshooting your Timing FAQ, By AnarchaArcana.

Ok, This is for everyone who, like me, had a lot of trouble figuring out their timing. Follow these steps.

1: Read/Watch the Instructions on how to preform the Glitch.

2: Turn off your game somewhere between 7 and 9 rotations. Mine is at 8.5 usually, that is starting from a count of 1, not 0. You could say mine is at 7.5 if you start counting at zero. If the clock fades out, and it goes to the trade animation, turn your game off, you waited too long. Start up again, get on GPS and withdraw your pokemon, You can try again without getting off GPS if the pokemon is withdrawn to a box, not your team.

Q: I did all that, and it doesn't work! Nintendo fixed the glitch! Wahhh!

Troubleshooting Section:
3: When you turn your game back on... If you go to load your game, and you do not get the "save file corrupted" message, You did not do it right, and you were probably too late, Load your game, and get on GPS and withdraw your pokemon, you can try again without leaving GPS if your pokemon is withdrawn to a box, not your team.

2: If you go to load your game, and you get the "save file corrupted" message, good for you! now, When you load your game, if your character is standing in front of the lady, not coming out the doors, you might have turned it off too soon, if so, your pokemon was never deposited online, Get on GPS, and try again.

3: If you go to load your game, you get the error, you load, and your character is coming out of the doors, good job! This might mean it worked, at the very least your timing is now very close to what it should be, maybe wait a tiny bit longer next time if it didn't work. Either way, get on GPS and find out if it worked.

Notes:
Sometimes my timing changes, varies between 8.75 and 8.4 good luck figuring your timing out!

Most of the time, when it works for me, My character is walking out of the doors of the GPS center when I start my game, Sometimes they are standing in front of the counter. Good luck, There seems to be no hard science to this glitch, yet, but if we all keep at it, we will get good at it.

I would like a Shiny Charizard, and A shiny Tentacool. I am willing to clone and give away 3 of each after I get them.

I have a Shiny Charmander, I am willing to clone and give out 3 of them (first to those who can give me more to clone and distribute, but failing that, anyone.) I will be online when I am online :)

yea the cloning trick works, i do it all the time before trading my shinies :DD (too lazy right now to do it XD) I turn mine off at around 7 & 1/2 rotations, works for me most of the time...

CyberCynderquil: Hey if you are online I can send you a shiny charmander (people may want to train their own rather than get the charizard). Could I get a Cinderquill to clone? I will pass it on to at least 3 others, and encourage them to do the same, if not more. :)

edit: No I guess you arnt. Darn. :) well anyway. I got cloning figured out on my system/connection. I can help clone for some people, I am most willing to help those who are also willing to clone :) so that everyone shares the work of sharing shinies :)
 
My top three most wanted Shinies are: Buneary, Sandshrew, and Starryu would be cool :)
