Pokémon: A Dark Quest

PROGRAM
To make this game, I am using RPG Maker VX Ace.

PLOT
In a dimension unlike our own, Pokémon are the dominant species. One kingdom's king, Lapras, must be escorted to the Portal Dome, an area that connects the human dimension and the Pokémon dimension. Unfortunately, the Murkrow gang, the Ex-Law Enforcement of this world, has turned and are trying to kill both you and Lapras. In this game, you play as Bisharp. You have just woken up, and all you remember is that you have to escort Lapras. Can you do it?

NOTE 2: This requires the VX Ace RTP, which can be downloaded here.
The RTP is required by all RPG Maker VX Ace games, if I could avoid requiring other people downloading it, I would.

I just wanna say I think its a cool idea, and there aren't a lot of mystery dungeon-esq fan games out there so its refreshing to see one :P

I just looked it up.
It looks as if its a battle system like Zelda or Secret of Mana.

That's a pretty interesting concept you have there Joey!
I have some minor questions though:

1. Is it only Bisharp that is doing the battling?
2. If so, that's going to be tough against Fire and Fighting Types. How are you going to tweek it out?

I would totally like to see how this turns out!
And like Raven said, It's fresh to see something new other than the same thing over and over again.

As of now, only Bisharp will be fighting. It would be balanced out because, as of now, there are no type advantages/weaknesses. It would be pure skill. In fact, you will be the only one in your party. But maybe there will be some plot element where you temporarily play as someone else.
