Introduction:
What started out as an idea for a Pokemon roleplay based around Japanese mythology slowly transformed into a fangame, with the help of a wonderful friend. Today we present to you those revamped ideas in the form of Pokemon: Dal Segno Al Fine
Plot:

Your mother calls you downstairs to greet your father; a scientist who just returned from his latest exploration. He is thrilled to show you his latest discovery: A bag of stones that have never been seen before in the region. He asks you to take one of the stones to Professor Zelkova, an archeologist in the next town.

When you take the stone to Zelkova, he excitedly tells you that it is not a stone at all, but rather a fossil of a prehistoric Pokemon, which he will happily revive for you. Returning home, you see a mysterious girl fleeing from your house. You've been robbed! With your newly revived Pokemon in hand, you chase her down and engage in your first ever trainer battle.
Your parents, impressed with your battling skill, decide to give you your birthday gift early this year: A Pokedex and Pokeballs! You've proven yourself ready to take on the world, maybe you can even go after the Conductors challenge!

During your travels you will meet many interesting characters, face challenges, and unravel the plans of Team Aria: A strange group of Pokemon poachers who are targeting the region's shiny Pokemon.

The Team:
LinearAxel (Head spriter, plot developer)

Help wanted:

Co-coder: Newmaple is really busy with finals and has requested a hand.

Tile Artist:

Co-spriter: Preferably someone who knows RPG maker and can make the sprites behave in it. A sprite-touchup-er, if you will.

Hype artist: Someone who can generate hype with the power of promotional art.

Members of the team will have input in map/town design and other developments.



Characters:

Female Protagonist: Harp

Male Protagonist: Cello (appearance may change before first demo)

Professor Zelkova:

An eccentric professor that can't seem to keep his focus of study on one thing for too long. He's an old schoolmate of your father, originally from the Orange Islands.

Strange Girl:

This silent young lady is lurking outside your house when you leave to see Zelkova. Upon returning, you see she's broken in! What are her motives? Is she working alone?

Rival Trill

A hyperactive and headstrong young girl who recently moved to the region. She leaps first and looks second, which puts her in some interesting predicaments.

Rival Retto:

A boy from a wealthy family. He chooses to go on a Pokemon journey instead of joining the family business. His timid nature causes many to wonder if this is the right life for him.

Sasha:

A trainer who's journey was cut short due to Team Aria. She is now hunting them down as a Pokemon Ranger.

Inari:

A wise and helpful trainer; he frequently appears to offer advice, information, and the occasional gift.

The first two towns have been made and coded. We're hoping to get a huge chunk of improvement done during December.

Updates and such: We're hoping to have a demo out some time around new years, and still looking for new people to add to the crew!

We've started getting into the lore and history of the region, which is so incredibly exciting, it makes the game feel alive.

I thought you guys might like to see some of the form changes, altered shinies, and new mega evolutions the game will have.

Electrode: When holding the ultra orb - becomes an electric/steel type. HP and defense stats are boosted.

Rapidash: While holding the winged chalice - becomes a fire/fairy type, gains the ability levitate.

Marowak: While holding the netherworld dust - becomes a ground/ghost type.
Ninetales: While holding the netherworld lantern - becomes a fire/ghost type.
