Pokemon: Armageddon Within
Intro:
I have made RP's before...and they usually end up dying. I don't like to revive dead threads however. Anyways, I am posting my newest RP: Armageddon Within. I hope that this gets active...and stuff. *not good at intro's*
Plot:
Ancient Times, dismal. Disease is rampant, including a plague known as R9. R9 has eliminated most of the region of Doku's inhabitants, children and adult alike. Doku's ports have closed, there is no way in or out. Everyone is trapped. A woman named Clara Kasumi tries to get her hands on HM-Surf, Dive, or Fly, or any way to get out. It was sad that every pokemon with this HM was forced to forget it through Old Man Jake(The Move Deleter.) And then, there were the authorities, in the sky, waiting in the sea. Doku was sure not to let anything out. But one day, Clara Kasumi vanished, leaving her two children: Fredrick and Garet Kasumi. Nobody knew where she went.

Fifty years ago, there were alleged reports of seeing Clara. Old photographs matched the face of a mysterious woman apparently. The only way for this to happen was for Celebi to have somehow carried Clara through time. A team went off to find out exactly what was happening, consisting of eight people. Suddenly, the ancient plague began to spread again...it was small at first. The team figured that Clara must've carried the plague when jumping through time. As reports of the plague heightened, disease controls burst into action. However, this plague was new...evolved. It was worse than ancient times. Even with modern medical knowledge and medical pokemon, it was hopeless. Doku's ports were once more...shut off.

Thirty years ago, in Doku.
Children were found to be immune to this disease. They were warded up into disease centers to be studied for a cure. No luck. The children would grow up in harsh conditions, and then still be experimented on. Their names were simply Units...Unit 1, Unit 2, and so on. Any child found to be immune was to be taken at the youngest age possible, where they would grow up, brainless. As if they existed only for the experiments. One day, a group of immune children will found hiding underground, from ages twelve to fifteen. They were taken. They struggled to break free, but it was too late. They spent one week undergoing experiments, questions, punishment for hiding. When all seemed hopeless, this group was found to be missing. Traces of small time ripples were abound...Celebi had struck once more.

FOCUS POINT:
This group of children exist in a dead Doku. The plague has wiped everything out. More importantly, there are no resources. The group of children believe they are alone, before they meet Clara Kasumi. Clara is still sick from the plague and about dead. Face pale, skinny to the point where bones faintly show, a sickly green-pale skin tone, bloodshot eyes. Clara. The children realize they are going to die, but Kasumi reveals Celebi is still on the island, and that she has befriended it. She hands over a small locket. THe then sickly woman tells that this locket is the only way of summoning Celebi...to get out of here. She then passes. The group must now survive the island while they figure out how to open the locket and summon Celebi.
Supplies:
Within Clara's bag, supplies were found. They are distributed evenly.
Locations upon Doku:
Yoko Town: START
The players know each other from hiding out underground. However, while they were held at the disease center, they were seperated. It is a coincidence that they are all together once more. They can catch up on their painful experience here, they can sort things out here, whatever they decide, this is the start. Yoko Town was a basic, small town. There's not really much here...a few rotten berry plants here and there...
Shred City: MID
Wild pokemon show up on the outskirts!(So, while entering Shred City...) If your player has a pokeball from the supply bag, your player may catch it. Refer to Rules section for further pokemon details. The wild pokemon have somehow survived over the years. There is a small lake here, but it is unknown whether the water is safe to drink. Within the city, nonperishables can be found in abadoned MegaMarts if looked hard enough within. Lots of hidden treasures...probably almost none will be found.
Treacherous City A: MID
After Shred City, hostile pokemon show up. THey may not be caught. They can kill players. Hope you trained in Shred City! Also, there are no resources. This is a dead town, full of hostile pokemon. Passing it will be mildly hard. Use your supplies wisely.
Treacherous City B: MID
If the secret of the locket is not found out yet BY THE CHARACTERS, it is found out here. This is only if the players have not figured out a way to find out the secret. More hostile pokemon. Use remaining supplies and continue.
Final Mountain: END
Scale a mountain full of hostile pokemon, use your remaining resources wisely. The mountain is mildly steep, and a fall can be injuring(possibly fatal if landing is wrong.) At the peak, the RP will end.
Rules:
Basic Pokecommunity rules.
If your player is going to die, please notify in a small OOC.
Quitting? Your player can't mysteriously vanish. Your player dies.
Don't be overly helpless and don't purposely extinguish supplies.
Players can backstab, however, the victim and the predator must BOTH be aware of the event.
Players can go insane, kill themselves, eat their pokemon, eat dead bodies, and stuff. However, don't go crazy with these privileges, be sensible.
If you decide to drink from the small lake, please take into consideration your character might get sick. Make a small probability note. It is your choice as to if your character comes down with an ailment or not.
No magic.
If your pokemon can evolve, be sensible. Don't evolve them a second after you get them. Try to evolve them in like Treacherous Town B or something.
After you post twice in any town, you have the option of making this symbol:

Doing so will indicate you are willing to move forwards. EVERY PLAYER must --> before they reach the next town.
REMINDER: You have to post twice in every new town before you can -->. It is an option to not post it. That way, you say you are not ready.

Be active! If everyone else has posted twice and is ready to move on, and you have not posted twice, please be aware your character might be automatically killed soon. Posting twice, then not being ready to move on is not an auto-kill. Auto-kills happen when one player is overly inactive.

What happens has happened. Don't erase events. Agree to what everyone else has posted. Everything must fit in with the other posts. Don't start whining because something bad happened to your character/pokemon. Deal with it.
None of the characters know the secret of the locket. The secret is: OPEN THE LOCKET AT THE PEAK OF FINAL MOUNTAIN TO SUMMON CELEBI. Your characters must somehow figure this out. If the players cannot figure out a way to do this, then it will be automatically revealed in a dusty journal in Treacherous City B.
List of supplies:
-High-Energy Candy Bar. Heals weak pokemon (there are no pokecenters) and gives humans extra energy if feeling fatigue/exhaustion.
-Great Ball. Catches pokemon in Shred City. Be sensible about which pokemon you meet.
-Max Revive. Revives a pokemon. The pokemon must be fainted, not dead. Max Revives do not work on dead pokemon.
-Locket. Whoever has this must work not to lose it...great responsibility.
-Food. A package of food.
-Canteen. Full of fresh water. Use it wisely. Hydrates human, heals pokemon a little.
-Pills. Heal pokemon of any status condition (burn, paralys...). Help humans deal with disease(ex. if the lake infected you, if you catch a cold, if you come down with a fever...)
Every player gets one supply. Supplies are limitless. For example, each and every player can choose Pills. The only exception is Locket, of which there is only one of.
