Pokemon:Armageddon?

Robin nodded at his reply, walking in time with the group as they entered the main part of what remained of the mall. Curious, Robin surveyed the area to see what she could recognize.
Many shops still lay in tact, including clothing stores, jewelry shops, and a few smoothie stands, although they had all been raided. Robin snapped her head forward and continued to follow.

Orva followed in silence. Scanning the store with interest. "It really is the perfect place for a base." She complimented grinning. "Good. I guess this'll be our base as well. Where is Deunan anyway?" The last question she asked was just a random bit of curiousity.

Orva's question repeated itself over and over again in Robin's mind.
That's so true.. where is he? I guess we'll find out sooner or later.. Robin thought to herself.
The scene just seemed more and more like the perfect hide-out as the group trudged down a broken escalator to the floor below. The movements of several soldiers and other people could be seen shifting through the shadows.

OOC: I couldn't get on the last couple of days.. -_-

"I'm right here." said Deunan stepping out from a shadow a dimmed light now showing his presence. "How are you guys?" asked Deunan, smiling a bit.

Arikawa gave a nervous salute as he noticed his commander, not daring to say one thing or the other.

"Well." Artemis replied, smiling in return "I've seen better days but I'm not too bad off over all."

Raikou nudged him as a reminder.

"Oh yeah, I've got something of yours, catch!" Artemis grabbed the belt containing Deunan's pok?mon and tossed it to him.

Deunan caught his belt and put in on. "Thanks." said Deunan smiling but waiting for someone to say something. Instead he immediately realized something. My amulet..its gone... It must have been lost in the rubble...well I've always been better with a gun..and its not worth risking a life.." said Deunan, blurting out random thoughts.

OOC: Gah....don't have anything else to write. Until now!

OOC: Uhm *coughs* Can anyone sum up what's been happening since the fifth page? lmfao.

OOC: Ehh...I'll make this short as possible.

The fight with Aggron caused the base to collapse over the battlers, almost killing Deunan and his Manectric, from there Deunan transformed to his Pokemorph form and apparently couldn't control himself and was killed in a fight with the others, the others left after Deunan's final order to leave the cave at once. Darklings attacked them, they easily won, Deunan went to find another squad and regrouped at the mall. He then called Artemis and told him to go to the mall where he was located. They went to the mall in which they were greeted by soldiers and the apparently "deceased" Deunan.

I might be missing parts but that's basically it..

Robin blinked a couple of times out of sheer astonishment.

"It's nice to see you again." She commented after Deunan's Pokemon were returned to him. "So.. I'm sorry to rush things, but what do we do now? The Darkllings must be doubling on the streets by now.." Robin asked, shuffling her feet a bit.

"Well, I haven't gotten that far in my head yet. I only had my thoughts and fortifying the mall as a last resort. After all, Ragnar might unleash his final attack at any moment, though our force is one to be reckoned with." said Deunan, his tone slowly growing in confidence as he spoke.

OOC: Come on, let my poor side-character of the hook, eh?

IC:

Throughout the conversation Arikawa had maintained a stiff salute, and Spark the Ninetales had started to become worried. Poking his trainer with his nose.

At Deunan's words, Tyranitar smashed his hands together, rearing for the battle to come, while Metagross just observed in its usual clinical manner and Raikou maintained an equally quiet, but more emotionally involved, approach.

"Relax, Tyranitar." Artemis said, placing his organic hand on the pok?mon's shoulder "You'll get your battle soon enough." he turned his attention back to Deunan, remembering the rest of the group "Have you heard anything from the others?" he asked. "If they're still out straggling on the streets when Ragnar's attack force comes they'll be in serious trouble."

"I haven't heard anything of them yet, sooner or later they'll come in contact. I'm confident they can take out anyone in their way." said Deunan, pausing before changing the subject. "Now if you'll follow me, we'll go to the control room." said Deunan, stepping out of the light and onto an elevator.

Robin wasn't sure if she was supposed to salute like Arikawa, so she merely nodded and stepped forward to follow Deunan. She entered the elevator and moved to the side to let the others step in. Staring at all the buttons for the floors, Robin was tempted to push one, but decided against it and waited.

Orva's mouth was twitching. She was looking at Arikawa standing at salute. But she was a soldier too so she didn't say anything. But she didn't salute either. Instead she nodded like Robin and followed Deunan.

OOC: Sorry that was so short but I have to get off and have writters block anyway.

Artemis could barely maintain a straight face as he watched the poor private Arikawa's salute and Spark's reaction to it.

"I think you can be at ease now." he whispered as he entered the elevator, recalling his pok?mon so as to not overload the machine. Artemis watched Robin's expression at the sight of the shining buttons and dials with a small grin. He could see that the girl was simply itching to push them but maintained her will-power for the time being. This certainly was unusual company he had gained.

OOC: I'm at my mom's job...using a weak computer,it so sucks...-_-

IC: Deunan faced the doorway and pressed a button with a number "3" bolded in black. The button glowed a weak yellowish white color. There was a slight screeching noise as the elevator lifted. "Going up.." said Deunan, laughing. "I've aways wanted to say that." said Deunan, grinning slightly. In a short time they reached the third floor and the opened.

Robin felt a slight tinge of envy as Deunan pressed one of the buttons. She barely had time to sulk, however, as the elevator lifted and promptly reached the third floor.

"So.. this is the control room?" Robin asked as she laid eyes on their new surroundings..

"This? No. This is the third floor hallway.." said Deunan smiling. He walked over to a worn out door and opened it, revealing a large room with a very large computer taking up most of the space. He directed his pathway towards a large table, several seats surrounding it. "You guys can go ahead and take a seat, I may need help with battle plans."

Artemis chuckled slightly as he followed Deunan into the computer room. "You've been busy here, I see." he added sarcastically as he checked the list of recently used programs, "Did my little program provide a proper challenge?" he asked with a polite smile, slightly curious since it had taken quite a while to get it to work right. Artemis hadn't given up honing the program until it knew how to predict and counter every move he knew. And even then he had updated it with the meager bounty of strategies he had gained through observation every now and then. Good old Geoffrey had uploaded it onto the computer, although Artemis suspected that it was more out of of politeness than actual interest. Artemis took a seat on one of the chairs in the room and awaited Deunan's reply.

"Nah, the chess program was way easy." lied Deunan. "Don't lie Deunan. I totally owned you at chess, as you would say." said Ellis, the name of the supercomputer's AI. "Err...fine I lost.." admitted Deunan.
