i entered the class super exited. the first class i had was my favorite subject: BATTLING! the teacher told us to each select our first pokemon that we recieved in our room. butterfree watched and cheered for us. The teacher, Mr. Mime, demonstrated his own attacks to show us what a well trained pokemon can do. First he used subsitute and demonstrated that a good defense can be your best ally. he asked me to have my poliwag attack the subsitute.. "poliwag use bubble, then water gun!" the bubbles lowered the substitutes speed, while watergun finished off the subsitute. "great combination of attacks, first limiting your opponents speed and power, then hitting it before it can recover... but remember bubble cant always reduce speed, you were very lucky for that attack!" next Mr. Mime used his attack, psychic, and then combined it with firepunch... he controlled the fire and spread it around him like a wall of flames. he mentioned that "having the ability to intimidate your opponent can also be your next best defense." he manipulated the fire into a dragon shaped flame and had it fly into the air... "combining attacks makes things easier to accomplish rather than simply using attacks at once, trying combining them together as i did". next he explained that "confusing the opponent is another form of intimidation, whether its me using trick, to switch my item with my opponents or swagger to confuse my opponent into a rage, distractions and confusions can be as devastating as any attack!"the bell ran before he could show us, but i decided to ask him if he could battle me and poliwag more time before we left... "i wouldnt want to hurt your baby pokemon, it wouldnt be fair, but maybe when u are in more advanced classes, lunch is now anyways, i would hate for you to miss it!" "o ya, i 4got, and i have 2 meet some1 too, thank you and ill see you tomorrow!" he was very nice, and i couldnt wait for my next class! as i was leaving i noticed styiles was in my class too. "hey stiles i havent seen you for a while, sorry for being so wierd!"
