Pokemon bug contest fail

I'm right now in Kanto.. & I probably played it like 5-6 times already (the bug catching contest)

& everytime I end up losing or getting disqualified because my pokemon faints

Try grinding until you can damned near onehit kill anyone there.

I remember when I first played Red I ended up having to do the Safari Zone several times before I found the Strength HM

I don't really understand what you're talking about fully. But I think you're trying to say that the Bug Contest isn't working out for you as your Pokemon faints all the time? Well, this doesn't belong here, it belongs in HG/SS forum; however, I can't really move this thread there as it's too user specific. Try checking the forum out and maybe asking some questions over there.
