Im impressed aswell i traded it to my mate for practically everything he had which was 3 regi's 2 shiny eevee's (My powerful Leafeon glaceon double team owners) latios and latias i currently have them in a spare pearl version as i restarted on diamond and aint trading em until i get national dex

p.s i got more than just tht for the heatran but would be here for ages if i said em all

I want a Shiny Bagon tho :( xD
Im not too good at Chaining atm ill get into it and get some shiny's to trade but first gotta do the first part all over again

Infact where is my DS i better get some progress done

ha went shiny chaining for electrike and found one!!!!YES!!!!But i didn't wasn't packed w/a lot of pokes so i ran out and didn't catch it.I had to watch a shiny faint:(.....sucks for me

You traded your shiny Heatran? Did you clone it? I could have cloned it for you...unless you're an anti-cloner. Well if ever you need a cloner just PM me.
My brother has a shiny Bagon. I could get it off him for you if you like :)

Where you encounter a shiny and you accidentally kill it, don't have enough pokes, or just don't have any pokes.
 
I've killed many a shiny by accident... and man it sucks...
 
i was chaining for a bagon today and found one!!!!I caught it but then something horrible happend......i turned of the game w/out saving it:(.Sucks for me.

Awww that's awful but I do know how you feel. I caught a shiny Zubat on Gold version and the game deleted itself next day :(
 
how do you find shinys in versions before D/P???
I actually never knew about shinys until D/P......im guessing ash's noctowl was shiny.
 
In versions before D/P it's just luck to find a shiny, you can't chain or anything it sucks.
 
so the chances of seeing the shinys would always be 1/8000(something like that)???If so, that would suck.
 
Yeah, the chances are always 1/8192.

BUT

Some players are more likely than others to get shiny Wurmple.

AND

Every player has a higher chance of finding a certain letter Unown shiny than other letters, but it's impossible to find out which letter that is.
 
My freind found shiny wurmple as his first legit shiny on emrald.

Im hunting for shiny zigzagoon or surskit on sapphire

while pc was expericancing its 5 day sh0rtagz

i caught my first shiny :D twas a shinx then exactly after i caught another i decided to raise the chain just for fun and on the 48thish i caught another :D

however my chain eventually broke at 55

i also got a shiny cubone aswell :D

i was so pleased like my first ever shinies! then i traded shinx and cubone for a legit movie darkrai :D
 
Why are people more likely to catch a shiny Wurmple?

I have only ever found one shiny out of luck, which was Growlithe in Fire Red, I really wish my sister hadn't lost it... =/
 
idk...i guess she is saying for example that some people have a higher chance of seeing a shiny wurmple than others.
