    Story:

As of right now, I really don't have any story idea's. My entire thought process went into the Gameplay aspects.

    Gameplay Changes:

Firstly and foremost, I would want to work on the scripting aspect, but more specifically trainer battle scripts. The idea for them is to slowly progress the trainers script to do more advanced, smarter things. For example, lets say you sent out your Charizard and the trainer happens to have 1 water pokemon in his line-up. Later in the game(probably starting around the 3rd-4th badge) All trainers(excluding Gym Leaders) will begin to swap out there pokemon for a better suited pokemon to battle with. Along these same lines, I'd also like trainers earlier in the game to have items such as Antidotes/Awakenings/Burn heals/ect.. as well as a few potions with them. I think if you could do that, it would insure a more challenging, as well as a more entertaining Pokemon hack.

My second idea would be to completely overhaul all trainers Pokemon, perhaps to better reflect what is available in the area. I think it would feel a little more fun if the Pokemon trainers had were from the last (x) amount of routes you've traveled, which indefinately allows a diverse pokemon pool for all trainers, rather than certain types of trainers having only a few of the same type of Pokemon. This however does not reflect
Gym Leaders, whom I believe should have a extremely diverse Pokemon team, yet still maintaining there love for a specific type. Perhaps for example, Misty could have all pokemon who could learn surf, and her highest level pokemon would be her Starmie. In the same vein, perhaps the Premier pokemon of each Gym Leader could have advanced stats or something similar.

(In operation with my second idea, and that is to also change the movepool on trainers pokemon to reflect some sort of "Individuality" among the trainers. This is probably not completely possible, but I would want to work as hard as I could on trying to inforce it.)

My third idea, if possible, would be to tamper with the battle triggers(Kind of like the nugget bridge battle with your Rival) and see what I could do with those. Perhaps even use it on one of the gym leaders. Of course, I would try not to over use such a thing, because I know it would get quite annoying after awhile.

My Fourth idea is to change the Dialog a little bit, to make the game a little more user friendly and to attempt to add a little more entertainment value. Also, it might be possible to add dialog after battles with trainers where they tell you which route to find a specific rare pokemon.( Perhaps wild Mr.Mime? :D )

    Graphics:

I mostly don't have any idea's for specific tilesets and in fact wouldn't mind using Fire Red as a base and just keeping it. My idea of a good ROM Hack doesn't really concern looking good, although I do understand that some, if not most people enjoy looking at something different. In that effect, I would try to find, and bring on a good tile artist.

And for a title screen and an actual name, I am honestly not sure, since this is of course text, and I at the moment have no idea how to even begin the process of creating a ROM Hack. However, I would be thrilled to come up with idea's for someone else who would want to create one in the future.

    Questions:

Well, I guess the biggest question would be "Is anyone interested in any of the idea's I've mentioned?" along with the followup question which is "Are you interested in using them for yourself?".

To be honest, I have no qualms about letting other people use my idea's as long as they will respect me enough to inform me they're using it, and giving me credit for the concept.

Another question would be "Would anyone even NEED an Idea guy?". And that's mostly because as far as I am aware, people mostly come up with there idea's on there own.

    Ending Notes:

Hopefully I will add more later, but for right now, this is all I have down in text. Feel free to critique my Idea's and answer my questions, but at least be constructive, and realize that I am new to this, and still do not have a full grasp on the hacking process!

Well, it's certainly not an idea for a whole hack plotline, but those are definitely some interesting ideas in terms of coding. I'd like to see these myself and agree that they'd be great changes in gameplay. (In particular with the wider selection of Pokémon for each trainer class. Swimmers, argh. I'm so sick of showing up at the Cinnabar Gym with my Grass and Electric types ten levels above my Rock type.)

More diverse Pokémon teams for the gym leaders sounds like a good idea as well. There are a couple of cases in that in D/P/Pl, what with the Candice using Medicham and Volkner using Ambipom and, of all things, Octillery; those were really neat surprises, and more gym leaders with teams like that would be fun.

Cool ideas, and I hope you find a story to go with them soon, or at least another hacker to adopt them. I'm sticking with conventional trainer scripting in my hack, and I'd use the gym leader idea except for the fact that I'm not going to have gym battles... Anyway, best of luck with these!
