I prefer the second one better and I'm sure Goatman will agree.
 
Everything is a little off center, to the left. That's made more obvious in the second one. However, the second one's pkmn in the background (sorta) is really low res, and doesn't look too hot. They're still good though. For some extra flare I'd put a really cool light effect with a lense flare. That would be cool :)
 
I wans't insulting them. If you say I was insulting your sprites then fine think that but I wasn't and I think I'm better of retiring from my help. Srry.
