Evolution: Lv.UP after "Ancient Power" was learned.
(same evolution methode for (Piloswine -> Mamoswine) and (Yanma -> Yanmega) )

How to get Ancient Power on Tangela:
Generation 4 (Diamond etc): Reaching Lv33
Generation 5 (Black etc): Reaching Lv36
Generation 5 new (Black 2 etc): Reaching Lv40
Generation 6 (X/Y/Alpha/Omega): Reaching Lv38
(If its changed to moveset Gen4+)

Generation 3: (Firered): Only Move-Teacher if added (move teacher data of gen. IV)

Don't know if this was mentioned before, but in Lavender Tower I'm stuck in this spot because this ghost has shadow tag and I'm unable to do anything about it. Am I supposed to just restart my game and just use repels for this part?

No you have to walk to Celadon City first (west of saffron city) - there you'll see one of the aides who tell you, that the silph scope was stolen. (You need silph scope to see the pokemon behind the ghost.)
(In Celadon you also find the tea for saffron entry)

I agree with you. Also, that is why the hacker have us to test and support him on this hack. to update him if he miss something or report glitches. This hack has updates daily/weekly. Not all hackers do that. That is why I do really appreciate this hack. It is fire red + continuation. :)

That s right. We can ´t see every errors when we test our rom. So we nee dome time to fix them.
However, as you can see the developent is slower now because i ´ m working on a sesuel for this gzme

Hi when i patch the hack my emulator always crush i use my boy what am i doing wrong?i patch like all the other hacks

for me the same with the common vba emulator, but only when i want to fastsave/load it keeps closing. my current emulator runs 'okay', but it keeps having sometimes problems like "Emulator doesn't work anymore. Searching for solution..." (just in german) and only sometimes when i save/load/reset the emulator. but i think its because its a 32-rom and not a normal 16-rom. More Input -> crash so it can't be solved i think

i am now with 7 badges in sevii islands and i need to ask for one change:
The seven samurai should ask you if you wanna battle ^^ when i saw the first samurai, i thought first it would be my rival :D so i keep running into him and get beaten like marmelade xD
Maybe this is possible in one of the next patches^^

You don't need to expand the fire red rom anymore.

search for fire red + "squirrels" in google and you'll find the right version. its 16mb but the patch autoexpand the rom to 32mb. Download the rom then patch with nups and you are ready to play

Harsh Joshi ... please.. read the main post of this thread first before you are writing.. everything should be nearly clear. But for you:
- download the fire red rom (google: fire red squirrels rom) . Asking for the rom is forbidden jn the forum, you have to find it yourself :P
- download the patch file which you can find in the main post on page 1...
- download "NUPS Patcher" (search in google)
- patch the fire red rom with the ups-file
- PLAY
(You should save a copy of the fire red rom before patching and every update use a copy of the copy to patch)

- and yes Virtual Gameboy Advance works, but some versions may have some problems with fastsaves. also JohnGBA for mobile phones works perfect with this rom.
Just drop the patched gba file to a seperate folder of sd card (or "John(...)") and then you can start play. if you have a sav file from playing on pc, copy save file, then open John-Folder, and third folder in it (should be something like game saves (not savestates)), i recommend to clear the first and fourth folder if you already played in mobile app with an older save file.


@Shogun: Maybe, could you add the keyword "(Squirrel)" to the needed fire red rom? ^^ should be easiest to find then for all :) - For now i'm preparing new Bug Report :) will send it later when i finished :)
