Pokemon Colosseum

    I don't have a gameboy or DS but am a fan of Pokemon and want a game for my Wii.

    I was wondering whether Pokemon Colosseum for the Gamecube was worth getting without being able to import characters from the handheld games. Is there a way to unlock Pokemon another way?
     
    In Pokemon Coloseum and it's sequal XD: Gale of Darkness you start of with Pokemon and can catch them in game, you don't need any other games to play them, but if you wish to use these Pokemon on Pokemon Battle Revolution you need a Game Boy version to trade over.

    In Colosseum you start of with Espeon and Umbreon.

    In XD you start of with an Eevee and you can evolve into 1 of it's 5 evelutions.
     
    You should get a DS for when Diamond and Pearl comes out you can play it. Also you should get either FR and Emerald or LG and Emerald
