    Yeah okay, I was bored, and I looked at Kitori_theTeamAquaSuicune's manga and was inspired. ^-^ So I decided to try my hand at a comic/manga. It's not perfect by any means, and that's the last time I use that pen to outline stuff. >_> It'll take me a while to get used to manga pacing though. I'm too used to writing fics, where you get all of this time to describe and state people's emotions. I think my next part will be better though, I'm thinking of using a different and more detailed style. *nods* However, I'm having fun doing it, and I think I'll continue doing it for fun if nothing else! So... summary of the story:

    Hino, a wild Charmander, meets up with a young Sneasel in a forest as he's passing by. He tells her that he'll help her find her parents, and so the two go out on an adventure to find them.

    Hino: A Charmander that is wandering about. It's not clear yet why he wanders around, or even what he's looking for. He acts as if he's too cool for many things, and he sometimes has an attitude, but he's really just a softie. He has promised to take the Sneasel he met to her parents. He also feels as if life has dealt him a somewhat unlucky hand.

    Sneasel/'Dummy': A very young Sneasel that lived on a high mountain with a clan of other Sneasel. She was with her family one minute, and in a forest the next minute. From what she's said, her family is not very nice to her. They even gave her the nickname 'Dummy'. She's sweet and innocent, as most children are. For some reason, no one in the forest wanted anything to do with her.

    Dune: A wild Dunsparce that lives alone. He never noticably moves his moves his mouth unless he's surprised or scared; and this doesn't happen often, as he always seems calm. He is a bit strange though, always collected and speaking in questions only. Why he does no one really knows, but he does enjoy watching people get annoyed by it.

    Awwwwwww, L_A, this is simply *adorable!* I love the Sneasel. "I don't know what iregellal is...HUG!" That's so cute! I really like the way you have drawn them - they look a lot more manga-style, and this works very well! The expressions are conveyed nicely, and it's very easy to follow!

    I look forward to reading more of this!

    Awww...I concur with the others, that baby Sneasel is just too precious. And Hino's attitude too. Ahh...if only he would have had the sense to actually leave rather than just sitt about and think that there's still time to walk away...but wait, then we wouldn't get to laugh at his misery now, would we? xD Regardless, it's all very mangaish, yes it is, and the story looks really nice and simple this far. Cheers for that. ^-^
     
    Wow! That Sneasel is sooo cutely drawn! And Hino looks really cool when he takes that deep breath at the end bit, amazing drawing!

    Aww, thanks for the wonderful comments guys! Well, due to testing and Kingdom Hearts 2, I've taken forever getting to the next part to this. However! It shall be done sometime tomorrow for certain! Tee hee. ^-^

    I'm going to use a different coloring/outlining technique too that should look much better than the first one (which was much messier than I wanted).

    So, be sure to check the first post out Saturday! ^-^

    EDIT: Okay, update complete! So I was one day off in my update... um... you have my permission to thwack me with a pillow. Softly. ;.;

    D'aww...both characters remain safely in the cute zone, although you do have to feel a bit sorry for 'dummy' (Like we all know Hino does. ^_~). And I just love Hino's whole 'It's not like I care!' routine when it's so obvious that he does. He's lovably cynical too..."parasite Sneasel". xD

    As for the pillow...*Twhacks 'Dummy's parents with pillow*...what? They're the ones who deserve it. And anyway, it's not like I'm in much of a position to complain about later-than-scheduled work. *Whistles innocently and brushes RPs waiting for input under the nearest carpet in a discreet manner*

    But moving on from one thing to the third, I like the whole change in drawing style that you made, very proffessional-looking, but the characters still look like themselves. Keep up the good work, Melissa. ^^

    This comic is so adorable...I am in love with your drawings, Light_Azumarill(as always)! ^_^ And the characters' personalities themselves are so cute...Hino's cynicism and the naivety of 'Dummy'(poor Sneasel...) are made very clear. This is so sweet, so professional-looking, so well-done. I can't wait to see more of this! ^o^
