    So i am in love with pokemon contests i consider myself a real life coordinater im making this thread for self proclamed coordinaters because i am the only one i know who likes them that much and believe me i have a lot of friends who play pokemon also it would be cool to tell me how many ribbons you have i have all exept for the tough rank master and i did it all by myself with no cheating!!

    congrats!! I've always found it hard to actually do contests because I focus on the battling aspect of it too much.. but once I have time, I'll be sure to let you know! Great job by the way.. I know a lot of people can't do that kind of contest "training"
     
    I have a Charizard from FireRed, traded it to Emerald ,Beat all the contests, Migrated it to Platinum, and have all but the Cute Master rank ribbon!

    I think this is a cool idea for a fourm topic!
     
    thank you your to kind and i acually prefer contests to battling every time i battle my friends i loose miserably but i win contest to easily im so gratful to contests thats why i think hoen is the best season besides the fact that it has a lot of my fav pokemon

    My most decorated Pokemon would be my Togetic, it has everything up to the Ultra rank, but that last rank is going to be tough to get. :o
     
    it is especially against jasmin and her steelix!! but once you do its rewarding
     
    I eventually get around to contests but I love using Poffin's/Pokeblocks that raise all contest stats like I think the Foul Poffin
     
    Just out of curiosity, are making poffins similar to pokeblocks? I haven't given it a try yet so I wouldn't know... But I should when I get the time of course
     
    Making poffins is better then making pokeblocks. You actually have to mix the poffin mixture while its cooking instead of pressing buttons at the right time
     
    i agree its way more fun to make poffins especially with friends
     
    I still need to figure out a means to obtain a ton of all stat increasing poffins. I think its the mild ones that are needed
     
    I loved the Hoenn Contests. I like making pokeblocks much more than poffins. I don't like how they set up contests in Sinnoh. Like the dressup part and such. The Hoenn contests were a lot more fun to me. Anyone else feel the same way?
     
    I liked the 3th gen contests, but nowadays I don't like them anymore. The moves aren't that different anymore and it's shorter :(
     
    One thing I'd love to see in a contest would be having it like in the anime for DP. Where you actually have to do a battle with style by using the stylus to maneuver your attacks or make them look special.
     
    i agree that would make them so much better but i still love them!!
     
    I contest-spammed my Togekiss for access to the Ribbon Syndicate... but that's as far as I can go with contests. x3

    I kind of find them... Boring. If they had storyline behind them, I would totally participate. They should make a spin-off series based on contests, y'know?
     
    Can you do super contests over wifi, if so perhaps we should try it out sometime!

    No, sadly you can't. The only way to do Contests with friends is with the DS wireless signal (like the Union Room), which limits you basically to a 10-30 foot radius around you.

    I'm not a big fan of the contests, but I do them for the sake of game completion. Also, I don't make Poffins. I buy them (Platinum only). Saves me the effort and the ones you buy are a heck of a lot better than anything I can make :P
     
    well i think that a spin off pokemon contest would be fantastirificall
