Pokemon covers

Pokemon Red and Blue were the only version with non-legendaries Pokemon's on the covers
Do you think they should stay with legendaries or come back with non-legendaries?

My opinion though...non-legendary...particularly because I generally hate the design of legendary pokemon. >_>

The only reason there weren't any legendaries is because none of them had anything to do with the plot. So they just chose the starters, since they are the most relevant pokemon to the plot.
They should only change to the original pokemon when the legendaries are unnecessary to the story, not that there is one >_>

I really like the legendary idea, but I wouldn't mind seeing some starter forms gracing the covers once again.

I always thought they chose the starters because they were...well, red and blue colored. Same goes for the GSC box covers...and actually, so on and so forth, except for Platinum. Giratina doesn't look like platinum at all. Anyway, I really don't care what's on the front. It just has to be shiny and look good for my tastes.

I dont think it really matters much. People pay more attention to the game than the cover itself, and it wouldnt matter what pokemon is on the cover anyways. I think any pokemon could be on the cover as long as it makes it look better.

Lol, I think they should stay non-legendary. I like the starters on the cover, not some circus freak usually 'tossed out from society, then going on a strike'.

I'd also like to add that with the way fully evolved starters are looking now, it wouldn't really be too bright to put them on the cover, and honestly, the same goes for legendaries. How about common Pokemon? |D
