I don't think you can catch a Teddiursa there at the beginning of Dark Cave...!
 
catch gastly at night,and teddiursa in the morning.then go get a bellsprout and trade it for an onix
 
evolve cookie then go on,wait unless I forgot and it evovles on eighteen
If that's true then level cookie up once and go on.

Well, seeing as I missed Teddiursa again, I think I may as well catch a Gastly.
Just because my laziness is delaying this playthrough.
Ok, tonight I will catch a Gastly and then, if I can pull myself out of bed early enough, I will catch a Teddiursa.
 
well ,remember,the only place we access to that has gastly are sprout towers 2 and 3rd floor,and route 31.both at night

Anyway, while waiting for night time, why won't you catch a Bellsprout, it'll be great to trade it with a Onyx to beat Falkner's Pokemon when you reach to Violet City...!In the mean time, just catch a Bellsprout a train it up...!

Sprout Tower. Let Teddiursa and BOUNCE both train for a bit, and use COOKIE when required.
