2nd Gen Pokemon Crystal: Wheres Lugia?

Hey, im playing pokemon crystal, and ive went through the whirl tunnels or whatever and gotten to where Lugia usually is, and its not there! i haven't fought it yet.. any reason why?

You need the Silver Wing, and Lugia can only be seen on saturday & sunday :/
Strange that he wouldn't be there on Sunday like he should be.

its sunday today :S but that silver wing.. i dont think i have that, where is it recieved agian?

I think that you have to catch Entei, Rikou, and Suicune before you can catch Lugia, though. :c

You do? No wonder I didn't like Crstal that much.
