IGrS Pokemon Cycle Challenge: Leaf Green Update #2

-Headed Down to Vermilion City via the Underground Tunnel
-Boarded the S.S. Anne with the ticket Bill gave me
-Battle all trainers, and obtained all possible items before heading towards Captain's Den
-Defeat Rival, and Obtain HM01: Cut
-Left the S.S. Anne and went to the Vermilion City Gym to face off with Lieutenant Surge
-Demolished the gym, and obtained the Thunder Badge
-Returned toe Cerulean City, and headed west towards the Rock Tunnel, and passed through teaching Rock Slide to Nidoking
-Exited to Lavender town, and Immediately headed East to Celadon City via Underground Passage
-Obtained Coin Case, and Tea, and proceeded to the Game Corner and fought Rocket Grunt and opened up the Rocket Hideout
-Fought my way through, obtaining all possible items, and met up with Giovanni and Defeated him. Obtained the Slyph Scope
-Made my way back to Lavender town and Fought with Rival in the Pokemon Tower. Went to the top, and saved Mr. Fuji from the Rocket Grunts. Obtained the Poke Flute
-Went back to Celadon City, and headed towards the cycling road collecting HM02: Fly along the way. Road down untill I made it to Fuschia City
-Entered Saffari Zone, captured Poliwag and obtained HM03: Surf. Also obtained the Warden's Teeth, which rewarded me with HM04: Strength
-Trained Poliwag into Poliwhirl to get my second team member Jynx, via a trade at Cerulean City, and taught her Psychic. Psychic Obtained from Saffron City after trading Tea to the checkpoint guards
-Went to Celadon City gym, and earned the Rainbow Badge from the gym Leader Erika
-Saved game at Celadon City Poke Center

FiRFl Cycle Challenge: Pokemon Red Update #2

- Ran through Rock Tunnel.
- Hikers are the scum of the earth... Making their Pokémon explode all the time :l
- Made it to Celadon and Torin just laid waste to the pretty garden women.
- Entered Game House and got really dizzy spinning.
- Beat Giovanni and got Sliph Scope.
- Went back to Lavender to bust some ghosts.
- Demolished Rival.
- Oh Gen 1 and the fact that Seismic Toss hit's Ghost Types xD
- Beat up more Team Rocket and got a flute!
- On the way to Fuchsia, I ran out of PP for both Ki and Torin... Gotta say it was a struggle getting there but I made it.
- Went straight to the Safari Zone to pick up my final member Rylli the Rhyhorn.
- Taught Rylli a bunch of TMs and fought the gym battle.
- Rylli solo'd Kuga even with his amazing final manuever of blowing up his pokemon last Pokémon when I had a full team. (Rest + Pokéflute OP)
- Back into the Safari Zone to get Surf and... Teeth!?
- Got Strength and gave it to Rylli.
- Went to Saffron casue I forgot it exsisted.
- Rylli became a Rhyhorn in Silph Co. building so, I taught him Surf.
- Beat Giovanni again and got Marsh Badge.
- Surfed onto of my 4x weak to water Rhino all the way to cinnabar.
- Found the key and Rylli destroys entire gym.
- Returned home to Kanto and then got to Viridian.
- Defeated Giovanni and got my last Badge.
- Won against my rival and then got through Victory Road.
- Saved at the 'Pokémon Center' in front of the Elite Four.

Hey everyone. Sorry for not posting anything yet, I haven't really had that much time right now :(

Pokemon Crystal
Number of Badges: 7

Spoiler:

*Chose to start out as a girl (Kris) and chose Cyndaquil as my first pokemon (Clyde)
*Did the first part with Oak and beat my rival pretty easily.
*Named the rival Silver (I was trying to use the speed button to name him. Super stupid to do)
*After that, I was officially a pokemon trainer and ran off to grind for some levels before beating Falkner in Violet City
*Was able to evolve Clyde into a Quilava even before going into Bell Tower, so I used that as a fast boost to get him to level 17.
*Off to the gym, I was able to rip all the trainers pokemon apart with Clyde :D
*After that I ran down to Azalea Town with only Clyde, ruining all trainers along the way >:D
*Into Azalea, I helped Kurt get rid of Team Rocket and then destroyed the bug gym. Went to buy quite a few great balls to catch a Pineco because Clyde's level was now 28
*Beat my Rival easily (Didn't have to heal Clyde at all) and then went off into the forest
*Helped the guy with the Farfetch'd, gain cut (which Clyde learned), and then grabbed Headbutt (Clyde also learned),
*I was then off beating its head again trees for a bit until I was able to get 1 to come out. Cue me just throwing 15+ greatballs to get it. When I finally DID get it, I named it Maria.
*Tried to grind Maria for a bit but had to stop thanks the Pineco apparently having horrible luck staying alive long enough to finish a fight (and I'm not talking about using Self-Destruct either :| )
*After that, I skipped most of the trainers right outside the forest and went straight for the Bike store to get the Bike.
*Quick stop at the Department Store, and then off to the gym.
*I was able to defeat most of the pokemon with just 1~2 embers (including Whitney's first pokemon) and then had to face Miltank. Clyde's accuracy went crazy bad which caused him to lose after Rollout was able to get high enough and Maria went after him.
*Grinded Maria's level up to around 23 (thanks to those fights I didn't do earlier, ironically enough) and then went back to the gym, where I was able to win without even having to use Maria -_-
*Skipped around as many people as I could on the next route and participated in the Bug Catching Contest for a quick Pinsir and a way out to get to Sudowoodo super fast but being halted by a little girl who I had to chase back to Goldenrod for the Squirt Bottle.
*Saved the game and then went after Sudowoodo, who died almost instantly against Clyde, so I SR and tried to use Maria, who did very little damage (and used up a few of my super potions) but was able to actually catch it. Named Sudowoodo Marcus.
*I went to Ecruteak, got Morty to go back to his gym, fought the Rival (easily won), set the dogs free, and then beat Ecruteak's Gym. Clyde finally evolved into Typhlosion during the fight before Morty.
*Went to the next route and grinded Maria to finally evolve into a Forretress. Still skipping as many fights as possible, I went down to Olivine City and to the lighthouse. Using only Marcus, I got up to Jasmine and promised to help her.
*After getting out of the lighthouse I grabbed the good rod to catch the Corsola. After a lot of krabby, accidental kills, critical hits, cursing and healing, I was able to catch a Corsola (named it Ursula)
*Starting at Goldenrod, I went all the back through all the trainers I skipped with Ursula and Marcus to level them up quickly (with a bit of grinding between fights).
*I've went back to Ecruteak, where I'm at now, and planning on fighting the Kimono Girls for Surf.
EDIT
*Ok, I beat the Kimono Girls pretty quickly thanks to Clyde's high level compared to theirs.
*Taught Ursula Surf and then went off to Cianwood City
*Was able to get through the trainers in the gym pretty much unscathed but Chuck defeated three (yeah, THREE) of my pokemon with just poliwrath before Clyde was able to defeat it.
*Grabbed Fly from his wife, the secret potion and finally went up to fight Eusine before leaving.
*Back to Olivine, I gave Jasmine the Secret Potion and then to grind for 1~2 levels with everyone. Defeated her with just Clyde though :D
*Went back through Ecruteak, through the right route and over into Mahogany Town.
*Went straight up and defeated the Red Gyrados (:\ I meant to catch it but whatever) and then helped Lance take down Rocket.
*On to the fight, I made sure to fight all the people in the gym to get an easy level for Ursula and Maria but both were defeated by Price. Had to use Clyde to defeat Price's pokemon.
*Skipping the few fights that were on this route (as many as I could anyway), I super repelled my way through Ice Cave and then went past Blackthorn City to get my Skarmory.
*After Ursula critical hit around half a dozen (she only ever seems to get them when I actually need the pokemon :cer_frown: ) I was able to catch one and named it Faz.
*Teaching it Fly, I then went back to the routes to fight the trainers and then back to blackthorn to grind for levels.
*Currently going to go defeat Team Rocket

-Got to Celadon City and spent my endless stacks of cash to get a Shadow Ball TM
-Taught Alucard Shadow Ball
-Tuaght Koume Aerial Ace
-Eradicated Erika and obtained the RAINBOWBADGE as well as Giga Drain, which I promplty sold
-Alucard TRIED to evolve but ...? So I had to catch a bunch of pokemon that I released so that I could get the Everstone and not have to deal with that happening every time he leveled up.
-Blew up the Rocket Hideout with my death stare. e.0 That's how easy it was.
-Got the Silph Scope
-Completely dominated RIVAL as well as the exorcists, er, channelers and Rocket goons in Pokemon Tower. RIP Marowak :'(
-Got the Pokeflute!
-Sold a whole bunch of crap and ended up with 70,000 Pokedollars.
-Battled down Cycling Road and reached Fuchsia where I saved.

Okay, I've been playing all day since it was my day off and I was able to do quite a bit. Just a heads up, I'm only going over gym fights as I don't really remember what all I did, so sorry about that.

Johto Side:
*I was able to defeat Team Rocket pretty easily as well as my rival
*Finally got back to Blackthorn and had quite the hard time against the gym (stupid electric attacks :\) but was able to defeat Clair with only Clyde, Faz, Ursula and Maria (Poor Marcus didn't get any action :P)
*Was able to get the Exp. Share and Master ball and then went to Kanto side to grab a Ponyta (took a while). When I got one I named it Kayle (K-Lee, just to point out that it is a female)
*After getting it up to high 40s, I went into Elite Four, where I was defeated by Will almost instantly. After stocking up on items and healing (I seriously forgot to do both :disappoin ) I defeated him with a mixture of all my pokemon.
*On to Koga, I was able to defeat him with only Clyde mostly using Flame wheel
*With Bruno, I had trouble thanks to him being able to pretty much kill most of my pokemon with just 3 pokemon but I was able to win with an almost never-hit Fly from Faz (seriously, that move seems to have horrible accuracy)
*Marcus pretty much won the whole fight with Karen so not much to say about it (except that Rock Slide is AWESOME!)
*Lance... oh lance. He had a back and forth pokemon faint-fest and ended up with a standoff between his Dragonite and Marcus. His Hyper Beam (luckily) didn't hit Marcus and I was able to do two Rock Slides to become the champion :rambo:
*After reappearing in the hometown, I grabbed the tickets from the prof. and then went to Olivine to get on the ship
Kanto side:
*Right after getting out of the ship, I went directly to the gym and defeated Lt. Surge with Ursula and Marcus.
*Going up to Saffron, I defeated Sabrina with Clyde and Marcia
*From there, I went to the power plant then back to Cerulean to get the part, defeat the rocket and then Misty (thanks to Ursula, Faz and, surprisingly, Marcus)
*Afterwards, I went to Celadon to fight Erika with Kayle and then around to Lavender town for the radio card.
*Defeating the Snorlax, I went to Pewter City and defeated Brock with Ursula.
*I then went all the way down to Cinnabar to get Blue to go back to his gym and fought Blaine at Seafoam Island (which I won)
*Flying back to Celadon, I used the bike path to get to Fuchsia and defeated Janine
*Back to Viridian, I actually had a hard fight thanks to his gym having no real exclusive type but was able to defeat him with only Clyde left.
*Went to Oak and grabbed the pass to get to Mt. Silver and grabbed the pass from the mimic girl (just in case I needed it) and am now at Mt. Silver, where I plan to try and train my pokemon up for the upcoming fight with Red.

Big update! I was able to finally finish this challenge :) Thanks to the slow day (and staying up last night) I was able to level up my pokemon to good enough levels.

*Since I was already at Mt. Silver, I trained my pokemon up to higher levels.
*Next, I grabbed my oddish (for flash) and then mapped out the cave because I didn't have a pokemon that could use flash :\ (No kidding. Look at the next spoiler tag). Using some max repels, I went through the cave

This was the way to get through the first floor in the dark. Took me about 8 tries to perfect it

*Next, I went up against Red, the champion:

*vs. Pikachu
Maria Was able to get down spikes and do little damage but was defeated. I then used Clyde, who was able to OHKO it with flame wheel

*vs. Espeon
Clyde took some damage but was able to defeat it with flame wheel

*vs. Blastoise
Pretty much my whole team died against this dang thing and I had to max revive Clyde to finally kill it

*vs. Snorlax
Clyde became a buffer while I revived everyone but was taken down by a Critical hit body slam. Moved over to Faz, where he became the buffer (a much better one) and I was able to revive and comepletely heal my team. I then used steel wing tons of times (Snorlax kept using sleep) and finally won with a critical hit

*vs. Charizard
Marcus OHKO it with a Rock Slide

*Vs. Venasaur
Clyde hit it with a flame wheel and flamethrower to win the fight

Update 1

Got Chamander and named him Draco
Beat Gary on the first battle and trained all the way to Pewter City.
Challenge Brock and won
Charmander evolved into Charmeleon right after the battle
Swept through the following routes and Mt.Moon with Charmeleon
Beat Gary once more and swept the Nugget Bridge.
Caught myself an Oddish and named her Rose.
Trained Oddish while working my way toward Bill
Went and challenge Misty and won using Oddish.
Now in Vermillion City.

Beat Gary at S.S. Anne
Beat Lt.Surge and got myself another badge.
Went through Rock Tunnel where Charmeleon evolved into Charizard.
Skip everything in Lavender town and went to Celedon City.
Bought a Leaf stone and evolved Gloom to Vileplume
Beat Team Rocket out from the underground base.
Beat Erika with Charizard and got me another badge.
Went back to Lavender town where I beat Gary again.
Beat Team Rocket out of Lavender Tower and got the Pokeflute
Went south of Lavender Town and got myself the Super Rod.
Went fishing for a Krabby and caught one. Name him Pinchy.
Train Krabby at Saffron City where I beat Team Rocket.
Krabby evolved while fighting in the Dojo Gym.
Fought Sabrina and won.
Went through cycling road and toward Fuchisa City.
Went through the Safari Zone where I found Hm Surf and the Golden Teeth.
Gave the Golden Teeth to the old man and got Hm Strength
Fought Koga and beat him. (Spammed Earthquake+Sword Dance, using Charizard)
Heading my way toward Cinnabar Island.

[Thursday]

Okay, this is going to be a mini-update because of a certain event that happened

Pokemon Emerald
Number of Badges: 4

Spoiler:

*Started a game and named myself Bertha (for the laughs)
*Did all the beginning game stuff and then got a torchic (Numan)
*Trained it up to level 8 and then went to fight Brandon, obviously winning
*Back down in Littlroot, I got the pokeballs and then went to train
*During my time training, I ran into a shiny Wurmple:shocked:. I couldn't kill it so I captured it (it was a rare shiny!) instead.
*Back to training, I got to level 12 before going to Petalburg and helping Wally catch his first pokemon
*After that, I went into Petalburg Woods and finally got Numan to evolve into a Combusken
*Helped out the dev. corp guy and then off to Rustboro, where I went directly to the gym
*I pretty much destroyed the gym with Numan's Double Kick
*Afterwards, I helped out the Devon Corp guy and the sailor (forgot his name) by saving Peecko
*Promised to give letter to Steven
*Asked the sailor guy to take me to Dewford
*I instantly went up to the cave and grabbed a Makuhita (Jessie) and then grinded like crazy to get Numan to late 20s and Jessie to evolve
*Went through the gym and defeated everyone with only Numan
*Afterwards, I went to slateport, skipping the trainers there, grabbed a harbor mail and stopped Aqua at the museum
*Up the route, I skipped more trainers (except the ones there were in my direct path) and then beat my rival
*Up in Mauville, I defeated Wally and then destroyed the gym
*Grabbed the Coin case and the HM for Rock Smash and then went directly up to to Fallabor to help the prof.
*Going all the way back around, Numan finally evolved into a Blaziken
*Took the Cable Car up to the summit of Mt. Chimney and defeated Team Magma
*Down the path, I grabbed a Spoink (Cathy) and then beat all the trainers there,
above and below slateport and grinded a bit to get it to evolve
*Back down the path and into Lavaridge, where I put the egg the hotspring lady gives into storage
*Over to the gym, I used Cathy's Psybeam to defeat everyone and then Numan to beat Flannary
*Got the Go-Goggles from my rival and then went into the desert to catch a Baltoy (Jeb) and Cacnea (Evan)
*Going down the paths left and right of Mauville (and extra grinding) I was able to evolve
Evan into a Cacturne and get Jeb to a high level

FiRFl Cycle Challenge: Pokemon Gold Update #1

Spoiler:

- Picked Cyndaquil so Rival can have Totodile.
- Did Pokemon Egg stuff, beat rival.
- Caught 2 Bellsprouts one for HM Slave and one to get first team member.
- Traded Bullsprout for Onix in Violet City.
- Our first team member is an outsider Pokémon named Rocky... Yay bonus exp but, boo he'll stop listening to me soon.
- Grined to about level 6 and went to the gym.
- Was able to clean out the grunt just fine.
- Fawlkner was super annoying since Mud Slapped all day leaving Rocky with no Accuracy. Battle took forever but, we eventually pull through.
- Skipped Sprout Tower since Onix is 4x weak to grass >.>
- On the way to Azalea Town, Rocky hits level 11 and stops listening to me.
- Our rocky relationship made it difficult to get to Bugsy but we eventually did without much trouble.
- We clean out Team Rocket from the Slowpoke Well and move on to the gym.
- Rocky actually does what I ask for most of the gym until he needed to Rock Throw Bugsy's Scyther... Just once... But no he didn't and got killed by the 5th Fury Cutter :l
- On second try he listens to me right away and we win the Hive Badge and Rocky listens to me.
- Then we run into our 2nd Rival fight... Against a Croconaw with a 4x weak to Water Pokémon.
- 12 trys later he finally doesn't do water gun and I can take him down.
- We pick up cut and headbutt from the forest and I began the task of finding Heracross.
- First Heracross found broke out of all 11 Pokéballs, 1 Great Ball and a Lure ball.
- Second Heracross I forgot to heal and reset Mud-Slap PP so I killed it.
- Third Heracross I got to low enought and caught it with the second Pokéball.
- Second member of our team has joined and his name is Tendou. He is the Heracross that walks the Path of Heaven.
- Made it to Goldenrod, Tendou took out most of Whitney's gym before Rocky cleaned up Milktank.
- Cleaned out the underground and got my bike.
- Got the squirt bottle and killed Sudowoodo.
- Got to Ecruteak City.
- Needed to buy Awakenings but I was able to beat Morty.
- Beat the Kimono Dancing Girls and got Surf.
- Used Surf to get the final member of the team, Natsuji the Natu.
- Continued to Mahogany Town and Lake of Rage.
- Natsuji evolved right away.
- Caught Shiny Gyarados and made it a HM Slave.
- Clean out Teamrocket and their Radio Tower.
- Took out Pryce and his Ice gym with Tendou.
- Saved at Mahogany Town Pokémon Center.

Update #3/Final Update

Spoiler:

• Beat Blaine and got my 7th badge
• Went back to Viridian City where I beat Geovanini and won my final badge
• Beat Gary again at the route leading to Victory Road
• Beat pretty much everyone in Victory Road
• Healed up and bought alot of revives and healing potions
• Went in and fought the first member of the elite four, almost died to her ice attacks but Pinchy was able to pull through
• Went and fought the second elite four member and Draco with the help of Rose sweep through his team
• Fought the third elite four member with Draco. (Earthquake+Sword dance combo)
• Fought Lance which kinda gave me some trouble with his Dragonairs. But I still manged to pull through
• Now it was time for the final battle with Gary. (Draco killed off half of his team while Rose and Pinchy took care of the other half.
