    I have started a new game on diamond, but i would like to know how leveled up my starter and Budew would have to be before i reach oreburgh city.
     
    First of all, what IS your starter? If it's Turtwig or Piplup you should train in that tunnel connecting to Oreburgh.If it's chimchar... well, just train on the route above Jubilife City.
    When to stop training:
    When Turtwig is at lv.16
    When Piplup has eveolved into Prinplup
    When Chimchar has evolved into Monferno and learned mach punch
    When budew is about the same level as your starter

    For Oreburgh? That's way overkill. Just train until your Pokemon are about the same as the ones in the wild. You shouldn't have to grind much in this game.
     
    Just play through and make your Pokemon as strong as you think they need to be. In-game play poses little to no challenge whatsoever.
