Pokemon Dark Spirit

After some thought i decided to ditch my old rom hack to persue somthing simpler. Maybe some characters in my old one will find they're way in (i think 02 can be a legendary). But anyway....

INFORMATION
this is a fire red hack.
It starts off rather basic, you're a young boy/girl who lives in Danon town. You and your friend/rival get to select a pokemon and start a journey.

The defferences are team Rocket is replaced by team Delta, who wish to control all the legendary pokemon (but you will only fight them for the important ones) in the land of (name not thought up, any ideas?).

Also the starters will be New pokemon, the elite four will be my friends (liam, jordan, justain and elliot) (lol), and there will be a dark gym and more uncommon pokemon will be more accesible. All 3 gens will be slurred for this game.

Since i am stll reletivly new to ram hacking, the overworld map will be shaped the same as Kanto. Sorry about that. I will try to change the maps enough to make up for it. The events will be mostly unchanged. (except for text)

Sounds like a cool idea so far. For the name for the region, what is the name Onyx based on? Could the name of the region have something to do with the similar idea to the hack's name? Or maybe a name based on the name of something real, like a real place etc.?
And what is this going to be a hack of? I'm gonna guess Fire Red, because almost every hack I have come across is a hack of Fire Red. :p

Usually the names never actually have to do with the actual hack, or rather, in some cases, this would be one of those cases.

Onyx is a Black Crystal, from what ive heard.

I will change script, but i dont really have a clue about making them walk to a different place etc.

Really? You mean you don't know how to script?

Take a half-hour of free time and take a look through this. It's honestly the best tutorial on scripting that you could find, and covers just about everything you'll need. Of course, if you are using XSE, it's not too hard to change them the way you need.

oh actully i didnt mean tiles i meant shape. Like the first town will look diferent but it will still go up to the next town that can go in this and that direction etc

EDIT: GAH when i tried to load wihtout using savestate it stays white O.o it doesnt run the game unless i use my savestate, too.

why would that happen

Edit again: too much stuff is blowing up in my face, starting over lol (i didnt do too much in teh first place to it dont matter)

Are you running VBA? Go to Options>Emulator>Save Type, and then where it says Flash 64k or Flash 128k, check the other one. It should work.
