Pokemon Dawning Silver

Hmm. I don't think that you'll be able to pull this off. Experienced hackers have tried to revamp Gold and Silver, but failed. I don't think that someone who doesn't know what an overworld is will be able to. Do you know how to map? Or script? And I'm assuming you don't know how to sprite, looking at your avatar.

Now, my reason for posting. You shouldn't post the plot like you have. It seems like a walkthrough, rather than a storyline. Try posting a concise summary, without revealing any spoilers. Look at other threads for inspiration.

Well in the original manga, she's blue, but in english, they translated it to green :P.

No, he said he was going to make a remake with "major differences", well those differences make it so that saying this is a remake is a lie, but he still thinks it is.

Well, that doesn't exactly make it any easier. This just backs up my original point.
 
hey can any of you help me, ive got advance scropt working with the rom fine but while im editing either the lab map and go to save or one of the extra maps (the triplets room) it will come up with a random message and sort of half save. with the triplet room it will randomly make 255 of each event and once you sort that out it will randomly make the map into a single black square and delete all the events

oops sorry i meant advance text but ive managed to avoid the problems this time and pallet town is fully functional
btw can someone give me a link to a tool that i can use to edit the title screen and/or the trainer's sprites in the introduction
 
Look in the toolbox. There's a tool called UNLZ.gba. Download it.

Then, look in Documents & Tutorials. There ought to be a tutorial on redoing a title screen. Look at it.


Also, don't use Advance-Text. Learn how to script.
 
ok i have finished editing route 1 and am currently editing viridian city to make it match
if someone can give me some tips for scripting they would be appreciated

also if anyone wants to help feel free to ask in this thread
 
demo

at what stage should i start thinking about releasing a first demo?
i was thinking about releasing one once i manage to fully script pallet town and viridian city
