4th Gen Pokemon Diamond & Pearl Patch on Everybody's Nintendo Channel

DONT TAKE THE PATCH IF YOU DO
THERE GONA GET RID OF THE CLONEING GLITCH!!!!

AND I LOVE THE CLONEING GLITCH

I don't think Nintendo will add the new Giratina form, they probably save that for the 3rd d/p. So don't expect too much. ;)

Specifically, I meant adding the sprite/moveset data so that it can exist on D/P, unless it will be like Deoxys in the GBA games and transform upon trading.

As far as I know, no one has found this information already in the game, so one would assume it doesn't exist there yet - hence me suggesting that's what the patch may be, in part at least.

And how exactly would they fix the cloning glitch?
A patch to stop your finger from pressing the power button whilst the game is saving? :P

Maybe they'll be some sort of GTS update so you can view more information or make more specific requests.
That sounds like wishful thinking though -_-

People making outlandish claims like this is what feeds morons in their "OMG OMG OMG NINTEND0 IZ RELEESING A PATCH THAT LETZ US G0 2 J0HT0!!!1!!1!one!!!eleven!!1!!

If and when Nintendo releases the Johto game remakes, or makes them available, it's not going to be as simple as downloading it to your cartridge. You'd be sitting there an awfully long time waiting for that whole area/game to download. Plus, Nintendo is way more money-hungry than that.
 
When the american version comes out, i refuse to implement the patch, until someone else tries it. I don't want anything in my game gone :P

In regards to how long it would take to download, a decent sized DS rom is only around 50 MB, which unless you're on dial up shouldn't take you very long at all. Heck I imagine the processing power of the DS would make fairly short work of it as well.
 
Well I downloaded the Nintendo Channel on my WII and there is no patch *yet* Will spike6958 please tell us where he heard/saw the patch? I thought it was likely that it isn't out in the US yet, and It isn't.
 
I saw it on a video about the Japanese Version of the Everybodys Nintendo Channel, it was just showing some of the features it had such as interviews, DS Demos and while going through the reviewer said "and there is the new patch for Pokemon Diamond and Pearl" and that is all that was that was said about it, no information about it just that there is a patch for it on the Japanese version of the Everybody's Nintendo Channel.
 
Well theres nothing like this on the US Nintendo Channel (Which is a complete disapointment BTW). So what is the patch anyways? and if its some kind of expansion patch thing or the way to get event Pokemon, When does this come to the U.S. Nintendo Channel?

If you had been willing to read any of the other post's here, you would have seen that there is no known date for the US or anywhere else outside of Japan and there is a good chance that it never will be because if it was somthing of great importance to the game such as an Event Pokemon or a new Region or anything else in that context we would know about it by now as the channel has been out for a while in Japan, as it is we know nothing about it there for the patch was most likely just to solve a bug in the japanese version's of the games.
 
Oh, for the people who got the first batch of D/P.
When WILL the events that use the item happen and will they be Wi-Fi?
 
if you want information about the patch for outside of Japan do it the old fashion way and ask the company, instead of posting on forums asking about it. But my guess it's a Japan only patch

let's see...you used all caps, colors, and multiple exclamation marks. you also mispelled "Cloning"

so, with all of this noob-ish way of posting, what makes you think that we'll believe you that it will get rid of the cloning glitch, when the rest of us don't know anything about it, yet you do?
