Pokemon Diamond (Telefang hack) crashes.

Is there actually a way to beat the hacked version of Telefang Attack Version (GBC Pokemon Diamond)? While playing it, which hasn't been a long time, I have already experienced 2 crashes. Can it save and continue on an emulator?

I was playing the game yesterday and eventually (after about an hour), I got a Game Over. Of course, in most video games, you press start to continue, so I did and it didn't do anything. I looked online & it said that the game will crash if you press start. I was a little upset since I hadn't saved at all.

I began playing the game again today, making sure if I ever got a Game Over (which I didn't) that I would not hit start & I made sure I saved (on the emulator). I played for some time over an hour and got to the 4th village. After getting the password from the octopus-like creature and going into the locked house, I talked to the other octopus-like creature inside. Once he finished talking, the game froze. I figured I was lucky that I had saved just before talking to him. I turned the game off and back on, but when I hit the Continue option, nothing happened. I checked my files & I had the .sav, but it wouldn't load on the emulator.

All that hard work... I had finally evolved my starter too and was getting ready to try test evolution.

Anyway, is it even possible to go any farther than the octopus thing in the house talking?

Well sweetie, it sounds like you got the bad dump of the game. I have the pirated cart and it works okie, but anyway... Have you tried save states? It seems to be your only option at the moment.

Yes, save state is the way I had been saving, but it wouldn't load. I may try looking for another one. Hopefully it won't do the same thing. One day I may buy the actual Tefeang Power Version game. Thanks for the reply.
