OOC: my charecter is a extremly fluent liar, there's never a difference when she lies.

IC: "anyway, thanks for getting me out of the river. I don't think I need your coat anymore" I said, taking it off, and handing it to him.
 
OOC: It's not a matter of skill, it's simply a reflex action that was identified by psychiatrists, a relatively recent discovery.

"Thanks." I said, and began putting it on again, and having to shift it several times to make sure that the blade was hidden.
 
OOC: does it matter?

IC: Since the conversation seemed to be over, I watched as my dog got up, and dove back into the water, and enjoyed himself. "wish my life wasn't so messed up" I muttered under my breath...
 
OOC: No not really. *Munches popcorn*

I wasn't thinking, and accidentally responded without thinking to see if that could have been heard by people with normal hearing. "Same here." I said honestly, as I finished fastening my coat.
 
I sighed, knowing it was pointless to try to think of a cover-story "My senses are much more accute than the average person, about 14/10 vision, superb hearing, and so on. Makes up for being about as dumb as a rock eh?" I explained. My dad never thought there was anything wrong with me, but I actually paid for unnoficial testing myself, and found out about my senses, I hadn't told anyone since then, why did I have to blunder now?
 
"so basicly you have beyond human sences? how did that happen?" I asked, at this point quite shocked. just when i thought I knew this guy well enough he had thrown a suprise into the mix

"I'm not sure, I just was able to see things better than other people, and hear as well. Though taste is pretty much impossible to scale." I said, failing to resist the temptation to make a joke.
 
I ignored the joke, as my sence of humor was borderline non existant, and said "so I assume your reflexes are pretty good as well." I was getting incredibly curious, though I was starting to get worried... if I kept asking questions the odds were higher I'd get stabbed and if he was agile i probably couldn't avoid it. The anxiety was visible only in a few shivers running through my spine..
 
"Actually, now that you mention it, I think so. My father said I just had natural talent though, as the only time I noticed it was in training." I said, looking away thoughtfully.

"What's the matter?" I asked suddenly as I saw her shiver out of the corner of my eye.
 
I didn't respond, as my mind had focused entierly on how it would look if that sword was through my heart.. and worse, he'd be way to fast for me to block or dodge...
 
I got up and walked over, not noticing the strange look on her face. For all my accute senses, I could be very un-perceptive at times... "Still cold?" I asked when I was standing next to her.
 
"I'm fine" I lied, keeping my tone as even as possible. the scenes going through my mind were getting more and more bloody, and it wasn't assisted by the fact he was right next to me...
 
I sighed, figuring I might as well tell him, I had nothing to lose, "I had thought I had gotten over having to watch my back, but with you having that blade, I know that you'd be agile enough to strike me and there's nothing I could do about it"
 
"Oh, sorry, I didn't know it bothered you." I said, then walked over to a tree, and quickly pulled my sword out of my coat, and slashed it into the tree about a half an inch, effectively holding it there. I walked back to Eclipse and asked "Is that better?"
