"it's not that easy. and the fact that you're agile and own a blade that's earned my respect without seeing it in use doesn't help" I said calmly. "but as far as trust goes you've gotten farther than a lot of people have."

"I'm glad!" I said, smiling "Practice is all that matters really, when you get down to it."

OOC: Rp brain running low on fuel, I'm fixing it, but it'll take a few minutes to digest.

"It's hard to trust somebody when you grew up having to dodge people what were trying to kill you." I said, as I felt myself get tired again. then that feeling of dread came back, this time carrying a feeling of loss with it... I knew exactly what had happened. "I think my grandpa just passed away" I said softly.

"Eh?" I asked, bewildered, until I realied just what she was saying. "So you're sensative to what happens to those dear to you?" I asked, having researched psychic ability during my investigation of my senses.

"you could put it that way. and with my grandpa gone, I don't really have a home anymore.." I said, not meeting Seph's eyes. I could feel the tears running down my cheeks, and I didn't want to be viewed as a whimp or a drama queen...

I clenched my fist as I heard her words, and heard a loud snapping noise as I did. I jumped, then noticed that my blade had come out of the tree, it hadn't fallen out though, judging from the damage to the tree, it looked as though the bladde had been sharply twisted until the wood snapped...

I looked around nervously "I hate to break the mood," I said, only slightly sarcastic, looking around nervously "But I think we should move to a different part of the park..."

"Yeah, just a sec." I said, and quickly wnet over to pick up my sword, and sheathed it again. "Now, let's just go." I said, and took her hand, and walked at a brisk pace towards a more populated area...

OOC:
For those of you who like to read between the lines, don't worry, I'm not giving my character anything that will mess something up.

I nodded, not saying anything, and after the panic phase passed, I felt myself return to depression. After all, without my grandpa I didn't have a home, as my real parents had disowned me, and there was no way I could live alone. Not at my age.

"I'm not really sure. Returnign to my actual parents isn't an option, as they had disowned me, said they had nothing to do with me and didn't want me in the first place. So really I have nowhere to go, and at my age I can't live alone" I said, trying to keep myself from crying again.

"I'm not exactly one who trusts in the system..." I said, thankful for the circumstances "But both of my parents are away on business trips, my mom is leaving in a few hours, and neither will be back for a few months, and we won't have anything to worry about by then! You can stay at my house!" I said, smiling.

"you're kidding right? That'd be great!" I said, shocked. I hadn't even known this person for 24 hours, and he was already proving nicer than a lot of the people I had met.

"Nope, better than leaving trust in the system, my mom feels that it's evil, and my dad prefers to exploit it, so even if we don't think of somehting, I can garuntee that they will help." I said, still smiling. (With the anime style face, ^_^)

"wouldn't your parents have a fit if/when they found out that you've had a girl staying over for several months?" I asked, now that thought process had fully returned.

"well, looks like I'm staying with you for a while then." I said, as my dog shook off the water, thankfully far enough away to not drench me.
