Anais smiled. "I wouldn't expect you to know. I mean, half of the kids that come don't understand the importance of it!" she laughed.

"The Summer Festival is an important ceremony in Japanese culture. My family and I have been going every year since I can remember. It's tradition to wear a Kimono, although it's not as strictly enforced as it used to be."

She paused, thinking of a way to explain the excitement of the Festival. "It's like a giant dance," she said.

While Anais was talking, she was nervously toying with her blue beaded bracelet under the table. Not many people took an interest in thier heritage like Anais did. She was obsessed with Japanese culture, and spoke fluent Japanese as well. Most of her Pokemon games were in both English and Japanese.

She turned her eyes back to Daniel, waiting to see his reaction to her statements.
 
After a few hours of wandering in the mall, Miyu had already bought new clothes, s***s, and some toys she wanted. She still had spare money, about one hundred fifty-six to be exact, and she knew what she would get next. [Her mother being a doctor and her father a lawyer, her family was fairly rich.]

EBgames...I guess I could check it. She thought as she glanced at the Pokemon game that was displayed. She, unlike most of her friends, wasn't afraid of showing how much she liked Pokemon. She bought the game and then headed to the arcades.
 
"Hey guys!" Everyone sort of muttered at out soon as the others came.

"I'll just have a plan cheese pizza right now…" Ali stated, looking at Conner and Abby.

"I'll have the same!" Pandy shrieked in a peppy tone, putting the menu into the middle of the table.

"Uh… I'll have the spicy-beef pizza…" Conner wasn't too sure of what to order, but he was able to think of something that he might relevantly enjoy.
 
Scott was driving, and listening to his favorite radio station (Ally told him he couldnt watch TV in the car ever since he got to other car totalled XD) when it started to rain "Juuuuust Great..." Scott sighed as he hit the dashboard when his Cell Phone started to ring "probably another love sick fan...-_-;;" Scott sighed as he answered the phone "Scott Hawkins here..." Scott said with a "happy" tone "Scott! This is Jim! You and the others have to get down to my er...office right away!" Jim exclaimed "WHAT!? WHY!!!" Scott asked as he kept his eyes on the road and pulled into Kazaki's Pizza Parlor "Somethings happened, I'll explain when you get here, but please come quickly!" Jim said and hung up "BUT!!! crud he's gone...><;" Scott sighed and jumped out of his SUV "Okay, i need to tell everyone without the kids knowing..." Scott muttered to himself and opened the doors to Kazaki's "Hey Everyone!" Scott said with a smile and sat down in between Jake and Ali and held up the menu over his face "Guys, we need to get ahold of everyon ASAP, Jim called and it's an emergency! We need to head over to his place right away with the others! SOON!" Scott whispered to his two friends. "Hey, why is my Dad muttereing to Jake and Ali?" Cloud asked Pandy and Conner. "Who knows...probably the final scores for the baseball game -_-;;" Jade sighed as their pizza arrived on 4 platters "Yum!" Hunter said happily as he started scarfing his pizza.
 
"That sounds pretty cool." I told her, nodding my head as she finished explaining. "I wish my family did stuff like that. We live together and stuff but Dad always works late and Mum's always busy so we hardly ever do anything with each other. I'm not complaining but it would be cool to do stuff as a family."

I sighed as I thought about my disfunctional family and how perfect Anais' seemed. I was interuppted by a loud rumbling sound. It was my stomach.

"Sorry about that, It's been ages since lunch." I said, embarrased by my actions even though I couldn't stop them. I checked my watch and found it was actually pretty late. "Woah man we've been here for ages, its getting late, I'd better get home for tea. Well it's been nice to meet you Anais, maybe we'll see each other again." I was sort of stuck with a way to say goodbye so I just said goodbye and left the table.

I left the table walking slowly, thinking about my new friend, if I could call her that now.
 
OOC: You might still be able to join, PM Sapphire Latios. Anyway I now know why I left PC before, you people can't decide on a gender!!!! Please people, pick a gender and stay with it, it's not as hard as it looks!!!!!!!!

Ally noticed that something was up. carefully knowing that Soph was having a conversation with her plushie 0.o she moved over by Scott "What's up?" She asked, a little nervously.

Anais smiled and bade farewell to her... freind. She wanted to call Daniel a friend, but wasn't sure if she could.

She rose, not sure how she'd ever see the guy again. She walked up to him before she left and gave him her cell number.

"In case you're ever bored out of your mind again," was her reasoning before she exited the mall, a slight flush to her cheeks.

With that, Anais started her walk home.
 
Ali looked over to Scott with a bizarre look on his face, not knowing what to do.

"Did he say what it's about?" He asked, seeing the kids continue to munch on their pizzas.

"… Hey guys, what to do you say to visiting uncle Jim later on after we've finished our pizza?" He said out of the blue, hoping that them coming wouldn't cause too much trouble.
 
"but...but...O_O;;" Scott muttered wide eyed "Jims? Sure!" Jade said happily, wondering what the heck kind of new thing he has cooked up "Alright! Then...I guess we can go..." Scott said with a fake smile, then lifted the menu over his face and leaned over to his wife "Ill explain on the way, the kids can ride with Jake and Ali...if they have room." Scott whispered to Ally and put the menu down "Okay, let's go as soon as we're done!" Jake laughed and took 3 pizza slices and dug in.
 
"Okay," Ally whispered to Scott. "Well kids," She said, trying to act...natural. "This pizza sure is good!" She said, vicously biting a piece. "mmm!"

OOC: Sorry for not posting an actual post but a small question has been bugging me. How will we (the people who didn't have characters in PD1) get to the pokemon world? That has been nagging at me for a while now and I needed to get it out into the open.
 
OOC: Myself and Scott have been trying to figure that out for a little bit now, if anyone has any ideas, please put them into action XD (E.G., you could have a relationship of some sort with professor Jim, that would make things easier…)
 
Anais was half-way home when her cell phone beeped. Something in her stomach jumped in a strange way, but she soon figured out it was merely Professor Cindy.

"Konichiwa Cindy, what's up?" she said.

"Anais! I'm glad I caught you. Professor Jim would like to see you immediatly," a high voce said.

"Aaw, Cindy, he's a crackpot! I'm scared to death of him!" Anais muttered.

"Don't let him catch you saying that! He's got something he wants to show you."

"I'm on my way," she sighed.

Anais trudged on. She called home and left a message, telling her parents she would be at the lab.

Anais had been working at the lab for nearly a year now. Her parents thought it would be good on her resumes, Anais thought it would be a good experience. Professor Cindy was her mentor, and a close partner with Professor Jim.

OOC: Works for me, hope it's alright!
 
Hunter stood up and stretched "So...Are we going over to Jims? im sure we can take the rest of our pizza with guys ^_^;;" Hunter said as he saw Cloud and Jade shoving the pizza in their mouths "but 'ad said lat we waz goig tu Dims!" Cloud muttered, with his mouth full of pizza "Wow...thats attractive -_-;;" Jade sighed as she sweatdropped at her older brother acting like a slob "So? doesnt mean we cant take it with XD" Hunter laughed as he went to get a box for the pizza "So, is everyone ready to go?" Scott asked as he too got up and walked over to pay the bill.

OOC: Yeah me and Raichu_tamer are always trying to work out the kinks in the story line, so it dont have huge plot holes like in PD1 XD (ex: the vanishing Tommy XD)
 
Anais entered the lab with a smile. She breathed in the air, a scent of impending discovery. (Actually, it was more like anteseptic and old socks, but Anais ignored that.)

She quickly found Cindy and greeted her warmly. "Konichiwa, Professor. Where am I meeting Jim?" she asked slowly.

"Konichiwa to you as well! Jim is meeting us in his office." Cindy said quickly, brushing a strand of flaming red hair from her face.

Anais nodded and allowed herself to be lead away to the office of Jim.
 
"mmhm" Ally smiled, while putting the excess pizza in boxes to take home. Soph looked confused. "Why are we going to Uncle Jims now? Is it something important??" She asked. Ally just sighed, "I guess we'll find out when we get there!"

OOC: Scott?s second last post regarding to Vanishing Tommy reminds me ? if any of the rpers brings in an NPC and decides that he/she is too much trouble, or isn?t finding a decent role in the plot, try to make up an excuse for him/her to leave the group so we don?t end up with another vanishing Tommy, haha? I wonder where KM is =\ Would anyone mind if I controlled Abby until she comes back?

After the bill was dealt with, Ali drove got into the van with Jake, Pandy, Conner, Julia and Abby. He lead the way to the lab, and was quick to get out of the van once they had reached professor Jim. He walked through the doors of the lab, and into his office, immediately recognizing Professor Jim, Professor Cindy, and her apprentice, Anais. Wondering why she was here, he looked back to Professor Jim, smiling at the thought of meeting him again.

?Hello again,? He said to Jim, Cindy, and Anais. Pandy watched her uncle greet the bizarre looking threesome, wondering when she would be able to go back to the manor. Conner and Abby stood side-by-side waiting for their father to finish the business that was waiting to be done, until they saw Scott and Ally pull up onto the drive-way. That?s when the two of them realized that they were probably not going to be leaving any time soon?
