Shep poked his head in the small opening in the tree. He thought to himself, I wish I had my Tauros in my team right now, Id use his fur to block any cold air instead of this smelly, bug ridden mess. Shep forced a smile, "Oh this....this is great!" As Shep started to walk into the tree he tripped on a part of the tree's root that was sticking out of the ground, a small leather pouch fell out of his jeans. A bunch of shiny badges in the shape of two waves, one light blue and one dark blue, fell out. Literally dozens of badges. Shep grumbled to himself, "This night just keeps getting better and better." Shep jumped at the sound of a loud roar coming from somewhere nearby in the surrounding forest, this caused him to spill the pouch of badges again. Shep turned very concernced, "Starmie go see what that was!" Starmie nodded as it spun into the darkness of the forest. More loud roars were made. "They sound closer!!!" Shep shakingly said.
A loud "wham" like noise was made as Starmie popped from the trees, the purple pokemon was sent flying back into a tree behind the "secret base." "Starmie are you okay," Shep asked as he walked to it. He noticed several slash marks on it.
"Starmie use Recover!" Shep frantically yelled. Starmie's central core began to glow of many colors that lit up the surrounding area, the pokemon itself began to glow white as the slash marks dissapated. Shep turned hearing steps coming from the trees. That instance three Ursaring come from the trees and shrubs. "Aw crap," shep unhappily moaned.....
