    I've been on a hack for a while.

    I already saw the tile error on the waterfall. And i will edit the tileset.

    The ruby tiles look HORRIBLE.
    A rombase, maybe?
    The mapping needs work, too.
    All the scripts are just text edited, it would be much more interesting with new scripts.

    I like to ask if any team or evil gang like team rocket for example are using this to control the dark pokemon explain a little bit more

    It's chrunch, not church. :laugh:

    It's caused by legendary pokemon, not Team Rocket.
     
    well the waterfall is the obvious tile error, but the house also has one, i am pretty sure there is a specific tile for going to the door, but i may be wrong,

    that may be, but don't you be dissin' R/S/E tiles, they just have to be executed right to work. Be the first to have a sideways and upside down waterfall, i dare you, but spriting for yourself shouldn't be too hard;), i can map somewhat if you need any help.
    the story is a little bland, but i don't know what i am sayin', like the fused pokemon could use some more explaining.

    But anyway, I noticed something else, the house in a screenie should have one more window. That way it looks a little bit nicer.

    Oh, and DreadWaffle, maybe the reason I don't like ruby tiles is because I've tryed hacking ruby about 100 times before I joined PC. I think I got a bit tired of seeing them.

    Erm, the definition of constructive criticism is critique intended to help someone improve... which is exactly what Chrunch gave, lol.
    Oh, and btw, Giradialkia said he would not, in fact, have said that in this case, so please don't go attributing obnoxious spam to a good hacker.
    Aside from that, I agree on the house, but I suppose it doesn't really matter if you're going to make a new tileset anyway. I like the plot idea, but you'll definitely need more than text edits for something like this, I recommend you learn XSE scripting, froslass, if you haven't already.
    And just for the record, I've seen your fakemon thread, and it's fantastic (one of the factors that gives me high hopes for this hack). Any chance we'll see that devil-Jolteon in here?

    I gonna study scripting some more. (otherwise I can't go on because it all starts with a portal.) xd Anyways. I update the plot for now.

    I think devil jolteon will not be inserted in the game though

    But the tileset got me thinking. Shall I use some tiles made by myself or tiles made by others?

    You should post your tiles and let everyone give feedback.
    And devil Jolteon would fit in well with the 'mutant' line of the plot... but that's just me (it looks awesome o.o).
     
    loljeah, my bro requested me making Demeon but back then he requested it with a ninetales tail and without the wings...
    But he gave it the name: Ophidian.
    And i'd rather want the pokemons to be fitting the evo lines. stuff.

    And heres the tileset. It still has some errors which I will fix soon.

    I like your tilesets, but I think you should change the large trees. I reallly like the mountain walls on the left three tiles.
     
    that was just the animation. But i'm still thinking about making the portal a sprite or making just a specific tileset. I guess I will make it a sprite. ^^;

    I'm not doing this alone though. I have a small team I add them to the first post :p (nicknames are from the Pokelab so it can be a bit confusing It has been a while and haven't been hearing from them a while, so I just go on on my own way x') )

    Uhm..

    Well, Trebornosliw covered it, I'll say nothing. But.. No. Nothing.
    Aaaanyway, I.. Like those tiles, they're different from most I've seen before.
    However, that tree is wrong. It's the Secret Base tree, which should never be used as a real tree. Also, it's not very nice looking, even in comparison to Ruby's other tiles (which are almost equally yuck.. In my opinion). I like the concept of Portals, though. A suggestion, for the Portal sprites (definately make it a sprite). You know in Ruby, there's an unused big Yellow guy? Replace him and his various frames, then set the sprite to "look around clockwise" and it'll rotate nicely.. Except when it's "looking" to the right, it wont look right.. Anyway, I'm babbling. Good luck, I'll keep watching:)
     
    Then I first have to edit his sprite pallete. I once tried that slot already and the only colour close to the pallete of the portal was the pink one. (have to find the number offset of the fat guy in APE)

    No, you don't. With Overworld Editor RE or Nameless Sprite Editor, just tick "Import Palette" when importing the sprite, APE doesn't even enter the equation. Since the big guy has his own OW Palette, no other sprite'll get messed up.

    But, to my experience, doesn't that change the color of the other sprites with the same pallete as the one you edit? But, I suppose you could just use one of the unused palletes, with the shades of black.

    None of the other characters seem to have that pallete :x But when I gave one of those peoples the pallete is gave an Dark and omnious effect. So I think the pallete can be useful for the Dark Dimension. :p
