Hey, so I ran into an issue where my pokemons moves are all messed up and a lot of them can only struggle. Im not sure of the exact issue but I think it has to do something with adding moves in PGE? Even when I repoint it to the original data, or a new offset with free space it doesn't seem to read it. Anyone know what's going on? Thanks!

The end of every Pokémon's moveset has 2 FF bytes. Overwriting those can cause a Pokémon to have access to more moves at weird levels. In PGE, if you expanded moves, you might need to change the memory addresses that contain the moves data. Gen 3 Tools is much better to edit Pokémon.

Thank you so much for the quick response man, I've been struggling with this for awhile. I changed the the last two to FF bytes and that managed to shorten the move list which is good but they still only uses struggle. I downloaded G3T is there an easy fix for this using that?

You have to go to an ".ini" file and change the number of moves, and the memory address to find those moves. You should find it in the Gen 3 tools folders from your downloads. BPRE is for FireRed engines while BPEE is for Emerald engines.

Okay so I checked the ini file and the number of moves is correct at 554. Im a bit new to all of this so am I correct that the memory addresses are the offsets? Cause even when I repoint to a different offset the moves still don't work. I'm assuming I just don't know what you mean when you say change the memory address.
