FireRed hack: Pokemon Elite Quest

Hey, cool! Sinnoh Pokes! And they work! Last time I tried to insert Sinnoh Pokes in a game, they blew up :P.
Erm, if you're inserting a few Sinnohs, I vote Weavile, but of course it's up to you.
And how's the trade center coming? I'd have to say that right now that's probably the feature I'm most interested in. I'd be interested to know how you script that... actually, a few questions on that point. I'll spoiler it, just so I don't bore people or clutter up your thread.

Spoiler:

1. Have you found some way to randomly generate trade offers (which would be freakishly epic), or will this consist of a bunch of preset trades?
2. If they're preset, will there be some sort of random rotation between what trades are offered at what times? That, too, would be epic.
3. If it's the first answer to either question 1 or 2, how the heck did you manage that? That would be an awesome script.
4. Need any help getting some basic trade scripts done? I can do a few for you if you'd like, as long as you don't mind me using the same scripts I send you in my own hacks (I'm a great believer in script recycling).

Anyway, really, this looks great. I'm looking forward to the alpha!

The Sinnoh pkmn, Weavile will probably be inserted, as i'm inserting starters first,
then sinnoh evolutions of 1st, 2nd and 3rd gen pokes.
I haven't actually started the trade center yet, my main priority is MT. Sledge at
the moment. The trade center i'm holding off until last for the alpha...
1.Sorry, preset trades... different ones will be activated when and old ones will
disappear forever as you do certain acheivements(GYM badges, etc...).
2.Well, as you complete events, then different trades are offered.
3. Nope...

HackMew has included a fully functional trade script in the guide that comes with XSE, going through how it works and what make it tick. Just change a variable to indicate which trade it is, along with the displayed text and - *Poof*! An instant 'original' trade script.

I love inserting Sinnohmon into Roms.
Be sure to get rid of Dunsparce and Quilfish, as almost any Sinnoh Pokemon is better. Weavile and Quilfish have similar cries, if that means anything to you. (that's what I'd done, anyway:)).
Be sure to download Wichu's RHXP tool. It's a must-have for inserting any new Pokemon. The Turtwig sprite is positioned a bit off, but you can easily fix that with the Sprite Position Editor in RHXP. Now, my "review"...
The story. Yes, it's ok to have a generic, Pokemon-style start to it, but be sure to think hard about what Team Rocket is actually doing. "The Basic Pokemon Storyline" should have a few twists and turns here and there, to keep it interesting- otherwise we may as well have been playing the same game over and over. While it's ok to use the Basic Pokemon storyline, try to spice it up a bit to make this stand out. Although you seem to be goin alright:). Good luck!

My Feedback: The game is simple, but fun. You could use some different palettes at the mapping. Also, you could change the hero/heroine's character.

Story
Basic pokemon game story.

pokemon. In Route 1 while you are travelling you encounter a strange
person who try's to steal your Pokemon. you defeat them, discovering they
are from team rocket, and they run away...

Pokemon Trading center
A building in the second town of the game where people go to
trade their Pokemon. There are always a few people in there willing to trade
their pokemon. They might even have rare Pokemon!
The more badges you get, The more trades are available!

Pokemon Minigame center
This operates alot like the Battle Frontier.
This is a place where you come to play minigames.
The more badges, the more minigames available!
Depending on the difficulty of the minigame, you will get a
certian amount of MP(Minigame Points) If you sucessfully complete
it. The minigame points can then be spent on an item or pokemon!
