3rd Gen Pokemon Emerald New Found Glitch!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok guys so i was playing my emerald 3 pokemon away from full national dex im like OH YEAH! (my friend has the other 3) he is coming over tommorow and i dont remember if this was before or after i started cloning? probably before well i was saving blah blah blah i turned of my ds then i turned it back on the next day i went to play my game...then i said WTF!?!??!?!?!?! ZOMFG?!?!!??!?.....you guessed it no save file...JOKE! all my pokedex had been erased, it said i had 0 seen 0 caught i couldnt even go into my pokedex until i had caught a pokemon i even got pictures of them on my camera but my mom was using it for videos and deleted them but this is true a real glitch that i found i dont know what caused it i think it may of been this: I might of turned the power off before the all important 3 seconds taht saves everything important (i dont think i did this but there is a chance) and instead of going back to previous save it loaded but the pokedex did not load because it was erased when i turned it off before it could save.

im not saying that reason is true but i might say it is if that might be the reason because i dont know why this glitch/bug occured and it sounds like a reasonable REASON lol so i will just say that is why (even though i didnt do it) lol

Clearly you turned it off without allowing it to save. That's not a glitch; that's stupidity on your behalf.

Boy, you sure like to talk, don't you. XD You could've just posted it like this:

I just shortened it a bit.
It should have saved your time typing it and my time reading it if it was that short. :3

Anyway, perhaps you explained the way it happened yourself.
This might have been caused by you turning off the game before the saving was done.
That said, it means that it technically wasn't a glitch caused by the game, but a glitch caused by you.

The lesson here: Don't turn off the game while it's still saving. That simple.

EDIT: I had no idea Get Innocuous! posted before me. I guess that's because it took me a lot of time to read the first post. XD

You probably turned it off as it was saving- not a glitch, just a lack of common sense.

Or your save file corrupted.

lol if you read what i said, i was saying that i had no idea why it was stuffed up like that so i would be happy to go along with "turned it off before it had time to save" but save file was corrupted sounds better and No im not and idiot and i would NOT of done something stupid like that the only reason that could of resulted like that is running out of battery


and if so a glitch caused by me i would like to cause it again xD i want to see how bad i can stuff up my save file without destroying it, and possibly exploit the effects these things might have
