Marianne hurriedly followed him, but she was a tad slower since she was still tired. When she finally stopped, Andrew was nowhere in sight. She groaned, closing her eyes. It was really quiet so any sign of a human being could be sensed. As young as she may be she had been taught to do that as an act of self-defense. She couldn't quite do it right, though.
"Let's see." She mumbled as she tilted her head up and down.
She raised her hand and pointed at a bush, since she still couldn't sense Andrew's presence, she just guessed where he was. She let out bubbles from her the palm of her hand and aimed it at the bush then opened her eyes. Hearing no sounds coming from there, she closed her eyes again. This time, she focused really hard. She could suddenly hear a kind of thumping sounds, she imagined it as a person's heart, specifically, Andrew.
"Ha!" She exclaimed happily as she aimed for the tree. "I know where you are, Andy."
She tried using bubble on him but, lacking control, it missed the high tree.
