Pokemon Fan game where you play as the Pokémon.

Hey everyone, sorry this is a bit of an odd question; hopefully it's not out of place here.

Roughly a year ago I was watching one of those 'Top 10 Pokémon fan-games of201X' videos on YouTube and a certain title came up that I have forgotten.

It was one where you the player actively play as a Pokémon (Rioulu I think was in the demo shown but I remember you got to choose who you played as) and got to speak/recruit other Pokémon throughout the game.

I remember it was still a working title but I can't for the life of me recall the name of it nor the video it was shown in (I've tried looking a few times).

Total newbie request, I know but does this game sound familiar to anyone and if so does anyone know the name of it?
