These are the main characters. You are them as you embark on a long and vigorous journey through Johto, Kanto, and Ohtoj.
Johto Gym Leaders:
Falkner: The first gym leader and also a police officer, he has earned the nickname of commander of the skies. He gives you the Zephyr Badge along with TM – Aerial Ace.
Bugsy: The second gym leader, he as a friendly yet meek boy who likes Bugs. He gives you the hive badge along with the TM for X-Scissor.
Whitney: The third gym leader, she has a specialty for normal-type Pokémon, nor is she a pushover. She'll award you the Plain badge along with the TM for Attract.
Morty: The fourth gym leader; his strength lies with ghosts. He'll give you the Fog Badge along with the TM for Shadow Ball.
Jasmine: Unlike the original GSC, she is the 5th gym leader and utilizes the steel type. She'll gift you with the Mineral Badge and the TM for Flash Cannon.
Chuck: Now the 6th gym leader, he uses the fighting type. He'll give you the Storm Badge along with the TM for Drain Punch.
Pryce: Yea, whatever, 7th leader, Glacier Badge, TM - Avalanche. >_>
Clair(e)?: The final Johto gym leader, she uses dragons. By no means will she be an easy opponent…

Team Lunar

The lovely Lunar grunts!
Lunar Admin Cranus: He's not the brightest, nor is he even liked by his comrades. But, he is a decent battler and the leader sees a strength in his overall ignorance.
Lunar Admin April: She's the second in command. She is powerful, witty, and known as the late night wind throughout Johto.
Lunar Leader Dustin: He's the leader of Team Lunar. He wants to use Arceus' massive power to destroy the sun and eliminate all life and create a world of eternal darkness.
Team Solar
The lovely Solar grunts. (I take pride in the female grunt... although, I could try to improve on the evil look and shading...)
Solar Admin Phoenix: He's the Cranus of Team Solar, except he's actually pretty smart. He's also the evilest member, however, battle wise, he's not the greatest...
Solar Admin Marietta: I wanted to add some cultural diversity in my game, first of all. Secondly, I wanted to make a character whose characteristics could best be compared to the coolest female anime character ever, Matsumoto Rangiku. (actually, Youruichi and Soi Fon are cooler, but April has Soi Fon covered. XD) Anyway, Marietta isn't very evil, she's addicted to shopping, is in love with her leader, is of Hispanic decent, and has an addiction to Polipops. (suckers that's image resemble poliwag) Despite this, she is a great battler, especially when serious.
Solar Leader Ray: Ray, unlike Dustin, isn't completely evil, or as shown in the end, isn't evil at all. What's first believed as a plot to get Arceus to move the planet closer to the sun, he rather just wants Arceus so his old friend can't destroy the planet.
Elite Four Members
E4 Will: The psychic trainer! Don't let him out predict you! o_O
E4 Koga: He's not exactly a mono-poison trainer. Instead he focuses on giving status ailments, making him unique.
E4 Bruno: The big buff fighting type trainer! He has to be good to be in the E4 for so long...
E4 Karen: Her team wasn't Dark enough in the original GSC games... boy do I have a surprise for you. XD
Champion Lance: Somehow, he became Champion... anyway, just use that Jynx from the Ice Cavern...x_x
All-Stars
All-Star Green: He's still cocky, but he's a good battler. His team is based more on Gary from the anime as well, so don't be surpised.
All-Star Red: The most powerful trainer in the game. After you complete the Arceus Finale Arc, whenever you rebattle him his team will contain Pikachu, A grass starter(or Tauros or Donphan), a water starter (or Floatzel, or Lapras), a Fire Starter (or Torkoal or Muk), the 5th poke being Snorlax, Staraptor, Noctowl, Pidgeot, Ambipom, or Togekiss, and the 6th slot being Espeon, Gliscor, Gengar, Primeape, Heracross, or Tyranitar.
All-Star Blue: First meeting her on your way to Violet City, unlike the other two, taking on mainly rival/opponent roles, she fills in as a support character, even teaming up with you at one point. You do battle her quite often, however.
Other Notable Characters
Bertha: she's filling in for Orek at the Viridian Gym, ironically, right after you beat her, he arrives.
Kurt: A famous ball maker, instead of collecting apricorns, he's made and endless supply that you buy at reasonable prices. You also battle him, team up with him, and communicate with him often early on in the game.
Eusine: The obsessive PokeMon collector, Eusine! You only battle him twice, but after you beat the elite four, you can always find him on Cianwood and ask him where you would find a legendary, if you don't, he may give you a hint...
-photo unavailable-Pip: Johto's most reliable delivery boy, he gives you several things, usually from the likes of Kurt, Prof. Elm, Your Mom (no insult intended), or a Gym Leader. You only battle him once, and that was y request of green.
Basis of game:
PokeMon Garnet is a psuedo-remake of the original GSC games. By this I mean it doesn't stay true to the original, but it's close enough to say it's a remake... well, really, not so much... I'm still debating on what I should call it.

New features:
Spoiler:
- All 493 PokeMon are available one way or another.
- A 3rd Region named Ohtoj (a pun on Johto) is gonna be made.
- (Note: I say gonna because I do everything backwards. I work on storyline first, then graphics and other in game functions, then major scripts, then I map what's left. XD)
- The mini-game(s) that came with Peter O's Kit (ofc)
- Two new organizations.
- A brand new gym leader.
- And so much more... (I just can't remember what)
Spoiler:
- A couple months prior to the main character's adventure, Silver tried to break into Elm's lab. Rather than successfully stealing a poke... Prof. Elm capped the bishie like Dick Cheney shot his best friend.
- Team Rocket was disbanded prior to the beginning of the story. (see where I'm going with this. It's as if the real GSC hero had already embarked on his journey.)
- Green is no longer Blue. He's back to Green so the real Blue can join in the fun. Along with red for the Blue, Green, Red trio. (Wow, that bullet was fun to type. o.o)
- Team Solar and Lunar consume the majority of the storyline.
- Battle Tower is only accessible after the elite four... and it's more than just a tower, obviously.
- In Newbark Town there's a place known as trainer hotel for new trainers. The 5-6 trainers change based on the day, although they do repeat. (monday's trainers will be next monday's)
- Cherrygrove City is more of a city now. If you surf on the water, you'll come to the second half of the area known as Undergrove.
- There's some crazy guy living waaaaay back in the trees in Violet City.
- Several caves an other areas have been remodeled to accomodate for certain legendaries. (other's you just buy a very expensive ticket and go to a Port. o.O)
- Rather than Lugia or Ho-oh, Arceus is the main focus of Garnet.
- Mahogany Town... well, no it's still the same, boring, useless place that annoys you. One of those being, you have to fight an old, decrepid, cripple. -_-
- There's an INDOOR safari zone in Goldenrod City. (always thought that would be cool)
- A lot of Kanto that was considered unnaccessible during the Metal generation is now re-accessible. (Underground Pass, Silph Co., Kanto Radio Tower, Pewter Museum)
- Sevii Islands are accessible. (? - Still debating, I'm wondering if adding that would be overkill... x.x)
- After your first battle with red, the area changes due to a rock slide caused by the battle itself.
- Gym Leaders, ect are capable of being rebattled after certain events. (exluding kanto leaders)
- And so much more. (?) - (Maybe I named it all) x_X
Spoiler:
You are guaranteed to at least have 7 lv 100 pokes by the end of the game. Or many more. Due to the length and upgraded skill level of gym leaders and trainers, it's quite possibile to have multiple high level pokes. Of course, the good thing is level 100 pokemon don't gain anything, and continuing to use the same PokeMon over and over again would be like throwing away that experience your special Hoothoot could of used.
Current Errors/Bugs:
Spoiler:
I'm still adding 4th gen stuff for one.. Uh I did have map errors but I accidently copy/pasted the wrong map data and kinda... overwrote everything, so... my mapping's starting over from scratch. x_X
Temporary Changes:
Spoiler:
Since I haven't been able to correctly add all the 4th gen moves, I kinda added them all with 3rd gen effects to compensate until later. (can't believe I forgot something so big. XD)

Kanto Gym Leaders:
Lt.Surge: The first gym leader you would see by arriving to Kanto through the "Fast Ship." He's an electric type trainer who awards you with the Thunder Badge and TM – Thunder.
Sabrina: The telepathic mistress! She awards you the Marsh badge along with the TM for Calm Mind.
Erika: The sleepy grass trainer, she awards you the Rainbow Badge and the TM – Grass Knot!
Janine: Koga's daughter! Beat her for the Soul Badge and TM – Toxic!
Misty: Once you find her at the Seafoam Islands and she returns to her gym, you'll be able to battle her for the Cascade badge and the TM – Brine.
Brock: As the Rock Leader he shouldn't be much of a challenge… but sometimes things aren't the way they should be. Take him down and gain the Boulder Badge along with the TM – Stone Edge.
Blaine: One of the more clever leaders, his fire team has moves to cover multiple types. Extinguish his fire and get the Volcano Badge along with TM – Overheat.
[Photo Unavailable] Orek: The new Viridian Gym Leader. He, like Giovanni, is a ground type trainer… just with a more diverse team. Defeating him gets you the TM – Earthquake (that would make like 80 billion. XD) along with the Earth Badge.
