2nd Gen Pokemon Gen I and Gen II cries

Hello everyone :).

It is known that Gen I only has 37 unique cries, and that many pokemon use the same cry, but edited (pitch, length, layers, etc).
In Gen II, 30 new cries were introduced.

To my knowledge, there isn't a list of these unique cries, and so I've tried my best to compile one, from the ones I thought got along together, and which ones not.
I'm probably wrong in some or many cases, so here is where you guys come in, to share your knowledge on this :).

Also, is there a tool, or way in-game, to access a sound list to see all these unique cries?
Like I've heard Nidoran Male belongs to Cry 0, etc. is there a list of this, and is it possible to hear audio for this?

You're dead right in most cases. Some cries are identical even, like Vileplume and Aerodactyl. I haven't inspected the Johto list as I don't know most of the Johto cries, but your Kanto list seems useful. Cyndaquil and Sentret have varied cries and they aren't too similar IMO Perhaps they changed the pitch and reversed it...? I'm not sure. One thing that's bothering me though: Haven't you grouped Blastoise and Kangaskhan together? They have similar cries... you'd better look into that.

I can't help you with the accessing the cries part though. It seems you'll have to do some ROM researching, better fit in the ROM Hacking sections.

This topic answered all of this already, and yeah I was right in most cases, but not all.
Kangaskhan's cry is unique to her.
