Does anyone use this site, you can earn some cool items that you might struggle to get within Pokemon XY by playing some mini-games using your poke miles, they have recently added a cool new game where items you win are Poke balls

No problem, they just finished their maintenance due to ORAS and added a few other things

I believe it would have been nice if they were to do more with X and Y's version of Global Link. In Black and White, we've had a ton of things, such as putting Pokémon into sleep, having them transferred, befriending other Pokémon so that they would eventually join you (if I remember correctly; could be wrong), and so forth; if they had done something similar with these two, I believe it would've gone a long way.

One thing that comes to mind right off the bat is character-customization. Of course, it was great to be accessing this feature in-game and personalize our player any way we choose, but one down side of that is, we were limited to our range of clothes and accessories (due to cartridge memory capacity), but if we were to do all these things online and later have our changes get transferred into games, lots of these restrictions would be lifted, I feel, since putting limit to customization things won't likely be required.

Current version of Global Link definitely isn't bad, however, but there's always room for improvements.

I haven't bothered to use the site, because after struggling to figure out how to use it more than once already, I decided it's nothing I can go out of my way for.

Actually, to be more precise I don't remember my credentials to get in and it won't even let me try to get my password back, i'm just done with it.

so the "forgot your username" and the "forgot your password" links are the site not letting you try? So what WOULD be the site allowing you to try look like? Psychics emailing you your credentials before you ask? ;-)

I believe it would have been nice if they were to do more with X and Y's version of Global Link. The problem with this is that this dream world was the only way to get hidden ability pokemon. As of now, you can get pokemon with their hidden abilities in the Friend Safari or in Horde battles. And there were only 22 pokemon lines not available in X and Y that people could get over poke bank (and I guess now ORAS) what would be the point of having a mini game where you could get pokemon now, since you can already get everything in game (including hidden ability pokemon) with the exception of the hidden abilities of a few legendary pokemon and the gen 2 and 5 starters (all of which are more valuable as giveaway pokemon)

in gen 5 there was a reason to have the dream world, in gen 6, there is none. Look how many people complain when they give away pokemon you can get in game anyway, imagine the complaints if they released a mini game that allows you to get pokemon you can already get in game anyway.
