    Out of EVERY Pokemon Handheld (Red - Emerald) I personally think that this series was THE BEST. I don't know why, but I just love this game more than all of the others, LG/FR beat it to number one in my list because R/B were my secind faves and they are superior remakes. I think Nintendo should Remake G/S, this would be the best PKMN handheld game if this was released, but unfortunately, the chances are slim =P

    What are your views about G/S/C and whether they sould remake them or not?
     
    Best and longest games in the series, but should NOT be remade, at least in the ADV generation, because that would look like "selling out". Also, it's just another cheap way to make a buck. I know that it's the longest game in the series because the top time in any other game is sub 3:00, while in GSC, people are struggling to hit 4:00, a VERY long game.
     
    I loved the G/S/C series, they were my favorite Pokemon games. I'd rather they not be remade, though, for reasons already stated by Bullados. Besides, I always prefer the original over the remake.

    I love this game so much. I think they should remake them because they are being covered by the awesome graphics and ideas from FR/LG/Ru/Sa/E. If they remake these games, they would be so cool. Night/Day, PokeGear, BugCatchingContest, Good Graphics, little details changed (look of gyms (like what Em did to Ru/Sa))

    I've sent an e-mail to Nintendo asking if they were considering remaking them. They said they weren't at the moment but thank you for the blah blah blah :(

    I've sent another one with better reasons why they should.

    No seriously, Crystal is tha longest pkmn game of all, even longer than tha 3rd gen, it's got alot o' places, ya can catch a ton o' pkmn, tha plot extends alot more than expected(after tha league ya get ta go ta Kanto), 2 regions, yeah they ARE tha best. Tch, I wish they remade 'em on tha DS... *sigh*
     
    by far the longest, I spent over 130 hours on it! I found it sooooo fun, I think it is better then the newest ones, I loved the time system aswell, I think they shuod, remake it, so, you can have all 386 Pookmon and so it has better graphics!
     
    I loved the G/S/C games, but Crystal stood out to me more. Plus, you could get all the badges from Kanto after beating everyone from Johto, then facing Ash.

    Dudes the metal version is the best so far, and ruby/sapphire/emerald is a close second. I mean come on you get to go to the old pokemon univesre(kanto) then you could use the phone, there is two sets of legendary pokemon(lugia-Ho-oh,suicune-raikou-Entei) The numerous times you whip the rockets, and my all-time reason for even picking up the game--defeating ASH! You have to agree with this! This would make the greatest Remake in the pokemon franchise, especially 'cause firered and leafgreen sucked a$$. I mean come on, 1 island, 2 island? Those werent in the original games, although i had to admit the graphic clean-up made it a good game.
     
    I too feel this was the best game series out of all the Pok?mon games and in all honesty I would have preferred a remake of Gold/Silver/Crystal rather than Red/Blue/Green. Given it's due and even though I was against buying Fire Red at first because it was just a remake of Red, it is an amazing game, but I was just playing Gold a minute ago (just got a Lapras to level 100, that makes 19 level 100 Pok?mon on it, training Donphan now :D ) and I realised how large this game was as I was just walking about. Think about it. What if they'd remade Gold/Silver/Crystal? The game would be HUGE, you'd have both Kanto AND Johto to explore plus more Pok?mon to find. I wouldn't be hesitant to buy that game ;) Though now Fire Red/Leaf Green has been released it's kind of pointless to release such a game.
     
    I just love G/S/C they're the best ones by far.Not only it includes al the best features,cell phone,two regions,a train,ash,and 16 badges,but also the best pokemon:P
